It depends. If you're driving and talking on one of them, you're at a much higher risk of having a car accident--read that harmful.

Terrorists have now developed a trick for taking a cell phone, attaching it to the detonation circuit for a home made bomb, and then using its ring (when they call it) to set off a bomb. Read that REALLY, REALLY harmful!

ON the other hand, when I'm out doing some errand running, or just out away from everyone and the hospital pages me, it can be lifesaving. Read that helpful.
