God is an element of each human's soul. It is internal to each individual. It is in each human being since the evolution of human beings. It is the answer that humans have for the meaning of life and a few have come to know God through a transcendence of spirituality. Jesus, Buddha, and some others reached this transcendence of understanding God. They have set the example and shown the spirituality that humans can attain and should strive. I know that I don't have the discipline to achieve this transcendence, but can be a peace with God. All human societies have believed in a God, Creator, Great Spirit. These definitions and God(s) have evolved along with humans to try to answer the question of the meaning of life. Does God exist, my answer is Yes, there is God.

For myself I define God as our Creator ..... Mother-father to existence. He-she is what keeps us ... an in viable us ....... instead of being swept into a void of nothingness and nonexistence.

We two-leggeds were graced to physically manifest on this mundane plain of existence.

Each physical body is composed of a network of cells which are composed of networks of atoms and those atoms are made up of electrons, neutrons and protons. Each constantly shifting between being matter or a wave of energy so that 50 % of the time there are moments of nothingness, yet there is some force that keeps us from blinking out of existence.

Some perceive this force as the spiritual energy inherent in a Unified Field Theory, superstrings, ch'i (martial artists), the holy ghost (Christians). An energy that intimately ties us with an ever expanding universe and each other.

Although we share electrons with every animate and inanimate object and thing in the universe that exists and ever existed we are allowed individuality and a free will. Free-will is not a trait of evolution no other animate species has developed it.

The more our basic human knowledge and comprehension expands the more sure I am that God exists. René Descartes stated "Cogito, ergo sum" or "I am thinking, therefore I exist", I add I think, therefore I am, I am, therefore God is.

In the end the term GOD is merely a label and therefore meaningless except as a starting point for your beliefs and inner meanings what truly matters is how you see God. So I add to the face of my God with each new experience and bit of knowledge I gain in life. So for me God is a warm summer wind, a child's happy laughter, a lovers gentle embrace, a friends sure handshake or hug, a project or job completed with excellence, each beautiful sunset or sunrise an infinity of positive life experiences and spiritual healing.

God is the Divina Spark all around us, impossible to understand with the human mind. Picture a jewel with many facets and every facet is a name for God. To me that is the best analogy. For me, God is a feminine spirit who gave birth to the universe as we know it.
