Hands down,
Christmas.
As a youngster I'll always remember that late, Christmas Eve afternoons we'd pack up to spend the eve and the day at my grandmother's.
My grandmother had a few bucks and lived in a small, affluent, town in Westchester that spared no expense decorating to gain a joyful, holiday, atmosphere.
Her home was comfortable, large and beautifully decorated for the holidays and fit her three children (my mother being one of them) their husbands and all of us children as well.
All told we were twelve plus my grandparents.
She would have dinner reservations at seven, we'd be sightseeing holiday decorations till 9:45 , church at ten, in bed by eleven fifteen- eleven thirty. It was our regular Christmas routine.
Just after midnight we could hear Santa's bells just outside our windows but try as we might he'd be out of view.
Early morning we kids were awake and creeping down stairs to mountains upon mountains of stacked gifts and lots and lot's with my name on them.
Like I said, grandmother( my nana) had a few bucks and she loved her family and Christmas.
Came the day after Christmas she'd be at the stores shopping the after Christmas sales for next year.
It ranks very high on my memory list.

Pretty much any time before my Dad cheated on my Mom w/ the manly lady across the street which caused my Mom to become a crackhead because of the emotional stress. (I am serious)

Being a kid. Young , dumb, and without a worry in the world. Not wanting to grow up, get married, and have to pay piles of bills. I don't wanna grow up, Iam a toy ru us kid. :)

Probably when i was around four,
because i had no worries then.
And about the time i was really spunky and had
alot of energy.

when i was in south Africa in the jungle touring around with my family checking out the animals,NOW IT SEAMS AS LIKE IT WAS A DREAM

spending time with my father, fishing and going to work with him during the school holidays, I always enjoyed being with him.
