not everyones intentions online are the same. most online daters wont to get layed just like offline daters...
if you find a site where it is made clear that all members are dating for marriage and not just dating for dating... then yes, millions of such matches have been made and the internet has proved to be an exultant facility.
and off course you should always have more peanut butter!

YES! And I am currently married to that on-line date.
All the Internet does is give you a wider population to pick from. After that it is still up to you do find the right one the old fashion way.
By talking...and dating.
It does work but caution should be used all the time.
1): Never ever meet someone following your first conversation.
2): If the person you are talking to is not interested in talking to you over a length of time move on. They are there for one reason only.
3): Before you meet him be sure you know something about his family and call them.
4): Always meet for the first time in a very public place.
You find a man who sticks with you through all this and you have something.

I have been doing it now for going on 6 months. We plan to get married some time next year. Although I went through alot of women before I met her. I was to the point of given up and then one day she sent me an email. We talked for about aweek on the computer and then on the phone for a few days. I knew when I talk to her on the puter and phone that she was what I was looking for. You will have to wed out a few. You will put in your profile what you are lookng for and they will also so. So make sure you know what you are looking for before starting. I dont know what I would do with out her. Goodluck

I have met and had some wonderful dates through on-line dating services. If your busy it's a good way to meet someone for lunch and see if something grows from there

My coworker married a man she met online 5 years ago. They are still happily married and perfect for one another. So it does happen. On the other hand my college roomate continues to date loser after loser from her online companions.

Perhaps, no one has answered yet, because no has had
any luck on those dating website. Personally, I think it's a
crock. Because people look good on paper. But once you
meet them, OMG !!! I think it is rare indeed, if you found a
good catch. My friend does this, and she hasn't found ****
