Wow,
I feel for you and know what you are going through. To be honest do not go to creams and cleansers for a cure. They are good for maintance but they are not a cure.Acne is created from the inside and in my opinion is related to a vitamin deficancy-
I cured my acne by doing the following:
First cut down on white sugars, chocolate and excessive fats. I can tell you when I have chocolate or heavy creamed ice-cream, I get massive pimples. Also cut out sodas. I drink Diet Pepsi which seems to be ok however make sure to cut out all non-diet soda. Each can of regular soda is equal to 10 tsp of white sugar YUK.Try water and lemon which is better for your body and it acts as a cleansing agent in your system.
Start eating whole wheat products because white breads, pastas etc only get converted to sugar in your body-
Heres the key:This is the CURE------>
Start taking vitamin B-5(Pantothenic Acid)each capsule is 500mcg. It sounds like alot but it will not hurt you in large doses because the B vitamins are water soulible. You can start out with a small dose and add more to see how your body reacts. In most cases diarrea was the only symptom.
I take 6000 mcgs a day
2000 in the morning
2000 in the afternoon
2000 in the evening
You should notice changes in a matter of a few days and your face will begin to clear up more and more each day. Please note that if you stop taking B5 your acne may return.
also take 200-500mg of Niacin. Please understand that Niacin will cause a flushing in the skin which may feel like a sunburn. This is because the niacin is creating blood flow under the skin and gets rid of toxins. This is normal the flush only last a couple hours. I usually take a warm bath which relieves the symptoms. The more you take the less the flushing will happen. Th niacin will help shrink pores and clense the skin. My skin clears right up with B5 and Niacin
I also take a multivitamin. Make sure to take all viatmins with food and plenty of water.
My skin was a disaster but with the vitamins and proper ating I have a great complexion.
Do a google search on B5 Panthetic acid for acne and you will get alot of info:
make sure to keep your face cleansed and use make up that does not clog your pores. Nutrogena Cosmetics are the best-

I dont feel there really is a cure, but there r somethings that can help you clear it up. A friend of mine has nasty acne, she was a pretty girl but you couldn't tell because her face was saturated with acne. Her doctor put her on various vitamins. She was taking zinc, iron, and like five other pills. It cleared it right up. I'm sorry I dint remember all the pills it was over 5yrs ago. Also get a good cleanser. Try something with benzoil peroxide, and not a low dose of it either, but not to high. Your dermatologist could give you more info.

One of the most important things you need to do is faithfully wash your face (or back/whatever) every morning, and before going to bed. Skipping the nighttime cleansing allows dirt to remain in your pores overnight, often compounding the problem. Wash your face gently. Scrubbing too roughly can aggrevate the situation.
Use an astringent after washing. Apply with a cotton ball. You'll be suprised how much dirt sometimes remains on our skin, even after washing.
Use some sort of good acne products, ie: Proactive, on a regular basis, until well after you see improvement. Consistency with this, as well as with the other steps I've mentioned is imperative.
And, very important: Never, never pick, or squeeze pimples, or blackheads, no matter how unsightly, or embarrassing you find them. Squeezing may remove the blackhead, or pimple; but will often leave a scar, or a hole in your skin that will only enlarge overtime, causing you regrets. Sometimes, squeezing will cause an eruption beneath the skin, as well, often causing a worse outbreak. A much better course of action, is to dab the spot with whatever medication you're using, or, even try one of the other remedies, ie: like putting toothpaste on the spot before going to bed. This will often decrease the size, or even banish the pimple, by the next day.
Another home remedy that I've used myself, to combat redness, and/or irritation, is to apply Preparation H cream to the spot, or area, overnight. The cream is preferable to the ointment, which will stain your clothing, and linens. Don't laugh! This really helps. (Think about it, the product was created to shrink hemmorids, and aleviate inflammation of the area.) It may not completely remove the redness/inflammed area; but it helps considerably.
I almost forgot to mention that drinking plenty of water is always important. It helps to keep our skin hydrated; and can help us to have a clearer complextion.
Also, taking zinc can help to clear up your skin. If you take it in large quantities, you might have to deal with constipation; but taking a senna tablet will help with that problem.
Partying less is important as well. I do know that taking drugs will wreak havoc on your complexion. (Besides which, partying will trash your body, and destroy your brain cells.)
And, lastly, getting a decent amount of sleep every night can help, believe it, or not. Our bodies need chilling out time, to replenish themselves.
I hope my rather lengthy answer is of some help to you. Good luck.

Accutain is good for acne. There currently is no cure as of yet. I'm not to sure of the spelling but that's the way you pronounce it an it really works. You have to see a dermatologist to get a prescription. Good Luck.

okey ive had this for almost for 5 years now, and now its disappering, i guess whn u turn 18 it stopes for some people. dont fiddle with it or it will leave marks.
okey but here are some tips which i think ive been following lately does help
1)drink a lot of water (i know u mus be thinkin this is a common one but yea it works ) spcially before going to bed at nite drink 2 glasses,
2)try doing sona bath (steam bath), which makes you sweat and it clears the dirt in your pores and thn quickly go and wash your face with cold wate. or do some activity which will make you sweat lyke exercise, run joggin helps dont wipe the sweat which comes out get home and thn wash ur face with cold water.
3) dont buy pro active its a total waste of money. i did and nothin
spcially one negative thang happend to me (i had no acne on my forehead when i used the scrub on my forehead acne started popping up.
4)use something lyke a peel of mask (cucumber) works well.
5)dont touch it a lot (and when ur sittin dont lean ur face on ur hand all the time all the dirt goes in the pores in the face.
6) yea and drink lot of water as i said b4 too (i know ull have to use the loo a lot but it cures it you know) wash ur face in every hour with plain water not with soap, it will make ur skin dry.
and i have said all this with experience.
i know how it feels to be in that place with acne. only i and God knows what all i have tried.
yea and one more thing
clearisil ultra works (HERE IS WHT U GOTTA DO) take alil out of the tube and just put it on the acne like a thick layer. (it will be gone) but yea it does leave marks)
doctors eat a lot of money frm this. i don think u shld consult a doc jus try wht i tld you for a week or two every dae.
one last thing dont drink any soda (lyk pepsi coke and stuff yk tht ) k take care of ur skin. n holla @ me if u see changes in a week or two,
dont use scrub it will, the small acne will get redder and it will hurt
dont put oil on ur face, with research it tends to block the pores and grow more
and also try this when ur at home and not going out for the dae try not brushing that dae.
it worked for me

Depends on your age. If your young, forget it, your acne problem comes from within (hormone influx). If your older it's all about hormones, what you eat, and cleanliness. If your having a serious problem with acne, see a dermatologist, it would be well worth the money, after all, it's your face.
