The only unforgivable sin is final impenitance. That is, believing to the last instant of your life, that your sins cannot be forgiven, so you refuse to be sorry for them.

(HCSB) Mark 3:28-29 I assure you: People will be forgiven for all sins and whatever blasphemies they may blaspheme. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin"--
(CEV) Mark 3:28-29 I promise you that any of the sinful things you say or do can be forgiven, no matter how terrible those things are. But if you speak against the Holy Spirit, you can never be forgiven. That sin will be held against you forever.
(MSG) Mar 3:28-29 "Listen to this carefully. I'm warning you. There's nothing done or said that can't be forgiven. But if you persist in your slanders against God's Holy Spirit, you are repudiating the very One who forgives, sawing off the branch on which you're sitting, severing by your own perversity all connection with the One who forgives."
In passage Jesus is speaking to the scribes/religion scholars/teachers of Jerusalem.
I'm not quite sure how this applies to us today, since Jesus was speaking to the Jewish people BEFORE He sacrificed Himself upon the cross.
I do know that if you die unrepentant, without receiving Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you will not be forgiven that act of choice (choosing to reject Jesus). Maybe it's the same thing ........

I would love that you understand one aspect of the issue being talked about. Repentance is being sorry for athing and deciding on your own that you'll never get into the act again. If this is your understanding, then, all sins can be repented of.
God is the One who said "though your sins be like scarlets or crimson they can be cleaned up so you'll be as white as snow, so all sins no matter the lenght you've gone, there are open hands wauting to accept you back into the Father's side. Return to your first love and lead a HOLY N CONSECRATED life so you can grow in the knowledge of God and be the best.
I'll assure you that you're created with the intent of being the best of you that the world is waiting to see; there are no two of you in the entire globe, that's how important you are. Discover back your place and the "work out your salvation with fear and trembling" I long to see you in heaven.
Shallom
Maranatha.

God will forgive every sin no matter how serious because he has sacrificed his one and only son for us all to be forgiven no matter who we are and what ever it is that we have done. He loves us unconditionally and he has given us the ability to chose and make our own decisions and with every decision that we make there is a possibility that we make the wrong one and do something that we are not supposed to do according to the rules and morals of our way of living together in society. No matter what ever it is that we have done or do wrong in life and no matter what the consequences of our actions will be God will always forgive us where as for most of us human beings it is hard to forgive because we are hurt by the wrong doings of the other. Forgiving is a difficult process that can be learned but it's hard when you are very wounded by the actions of others but it can be done if we dare to open our hearts for the unconditional love that lives in the heart of every living person but that can only be found if we dare to take a look inside.

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unforgiveable either in this life or in the next.
The reason why is because it is only through the Holy Spirit that repentance of sin is possible. However, if one refuses to allow the Holy Spirit To Work through them, then it is to their own Eternal Loss.

Allah clearly mentions in the Quran that the sin of Shirk (associating partners with God) is unforgivable. Any other sin, if he wishes, he may forgive but the sin of Shirk will never be forgiven...

The only unrepentable Sin is to make a lifetime habit of rejecting the work of the Holy Spirit (i..e, make a lifetime habit of rejecting the gospel of Jesus Christ).
For a brief explanation of the gospel (of salvation through Jesus Christ), see http://www.godsci.org/gs/new/essence.html

All sins can be forgiven but you must mean it, be true and repent in good conscience and heart, you must turn away from all sin and accept Jesus Christ as your saviour and the Holy spirit into your life as your guide.

blaspheming the holy Spirit, which simply means, "not beleiving Jesus is God". That's why you He can't forgive you, because you don't believe in him. Have faith in God and all sins will be forgiven.

Well the Sin of rejecting Christ as Savior is the one Sin that Christ cannot pay for, if you still reject Christ at Death then you are going to Hell.
But if ya accept Christ you have nothing to fear.
