Younger guys cuold take a girl's shyness as rejection, abnd obviously guys with low esteem.
But for me, I like the guy to be the dominant one in the chase part of the relationship. I am put off by the 2 times women have apporched me. If I were tall/dark/handsome, I'd really have an attitude about this, as it'd happen more often.
From my experience: I went out with a woman 39 (I am 40). Great chemistry. I did most of the talking (80%), but at the end of the date, she gave me this bear hug and a kiss. I had no idea how I was "doing" till then. Here comes the part that applies to you.
She said she wanted to go out again. Everything pointed to it, EXCEPT, she didn't always return my calls. I finally got tired of leaving messages. I thought she might be shy, but when I finally got an explanation, she told me "the guy is suppose to chase the woman, its romantic." What I thought was shyness ended up in my mind to be nuts. I told her no guy will call you 8 times for 1 return call. She then said she must not mean that much to me. I stopped calling. There's a fine line between shyness and whatever that was. I suspect she used this to cover for her shyness, but I felt she was using me for some twisted game.

If you are a virgin and shy, that is not a problem. When you meet someone that you really like and want to settle down with them you will come out of your shell. Just be yourself and never worry about what other people think, whatever they think anyway will more then likely be wrong. GOOD GIRL.

there is nothing wrong with shy girls as long as they are being true to themselves i would hate to be friends with or be in a relationship with someone who can't have a conversation with you. I find the loudest girls have the least to say P...

Shy is usually sweet. I like it more than girsl that are "in your face".
This doesn't apply to someone so shy that they can't talk or make eye contact. That comes across as a mental/emotional problem or somthing.

I dont like them. Usually I find it is a front and they are hiding their true personality. It isnt the real them. When you get to know the real person you might not like what you find. Confidence is more sexy.
