Just tell him straight out, if hes you're best friend he'll understand and he'll let you know how he feels too.

i dont think the best thing is to tell him..but if theres that trust between you two then i think you should take advantage when the time is right..when the topic of a girlfriend or boyfriend comes along......good luck;..hopefully you dont lose a good friend over a crush..sometimes it works other times it dont!>.

make hints at the fact that you like him but better yet as a joke maybe ask him what he would think if you guys were a couple and see what his reaction is if he freaks out don't tell him but if he doesn't then you might want to but pay close attention to the way he reacts.

Well I woould start talking to him about how you feel but be in-direct. You don't want to find out he doesn't feel the same way and get hurt. You wanna find out if he thinks of you in the same way first. Then if he does feel the same way you move from there.

simple be honest and tell him
he will be flattered that somebody likes him, wouldnt you be?
if he doesnt want to date, you still have him as a friend
if he feels the same way, you have a boyfriend who u already know really well, so it should be a good relationship
