I've dealt with acne, and I have had many friends that have dealt with it as well. I don't think there's one magical product that can work for everyone. A good diet is important for healthy skin. Some foods may have a tendency to make you break out. Drinking lots of water won't clear you're skin up completely, but besides being good for you it does help. Try to keep a clean face as well. Don't keep makeup on longer than necessary or sleep in it, and wash your face when you wake up, before you go to sleep, and after sweating. I know moisturizing seems redundant for some people. But if you was your face and it becomes dry, your oil glands will start to produce excess oil and that can clog your pores. As for a product, I have tried products in the store, but for me they all just dry my face out. RetinA burned my face so bad it was bleeding for about a week after I stopped it. I finally found a prescription topical cream that works for me. It's called Duac Topical Gel (Clindamycin 1%, Benzoyl Peroxide .5%). It has worked for me, and I really think the best thing you could do is try to eat healthy, drink lots of water, keep a clean face, and try different products until you find one thats right for you. Hope I could help you out!

Pro Activ kit.

I had a bout with adult acne in my mid-twenties and I tried everything I could get my hands on and nothing was working. I finally ordered some of the Pro Activ solution off of TV and it worked like a charm, I didn't even have to use it but a few times and it cleared the problem right up.

It is like 40.00 for the starter kit, but the starter kit will last you forever.

Use both a cleansing soap, like Neutragena, and a salacylic acid spot treatment that comes in a smaller bottle. Keeping your face clean is the best way to prevent breakouts, so wash your face every time you brush your teeth.

proactiv works really well and so does clearasil advanced I think it's called. whatever is the one that guarantees clearer skin in three days and comes in a shiny metallic box. proactiv works but you have to contiunally use it otherwise your acne will return eventually

wash tour face with neutrogena soap 2 times a day and stay away from soaps that contain deodorants. dove & camay are excellent. in extreame cases you you may want to see your dr. for a drug like accutane, but beware that accutane can be extreamly dangerous to women.
