There is nothing special about HDTV signals as far as antenna requirements; the same antenna will pick up analog and digital transmissions. Many DTV stations are on UHF, so you need an antenna the receives that band, as well as VHF. If you are close enough to the transmitter, you should be able to use an indoor antenna.

No you cannot pick up hdtv trough rabit ears because it is a digital feed that suplies the hd. Not only that but you also have to have a Televition set Hd ready. Its almost as a format works on a computer so does the hdtv works on televitions.
And By the way now they have Hdradios. what will they come with next. Oh and by the way people dont really look that much better in hd in fact they look worst since now you can see all their flaws.

regardless of UHF antenna you're employing now will artwork, except they swap the area of the printed tower for a clean digital signal, which they did right here, regardless of the indisputable fact that the same antenna nevertheless worked. digital indicators use the UHF part of a UHF/VHF antenna, so that you no longer want the VHF section prolonged - the UHF section is the smaller loop of a few style, no longer the section that sticks up. you in ordinary words want an amplified antenna to %. up weaker indicators from stations slightly extra away.

Yes you can. Your local station has to be broadcasting in HD and you not only have to have an HD TV but it must have an HD reciever either in it or stand alone.
