The main symptoms are persistent heartburn and acid regurgitation. Some people have GERD without heartburn. Instead, they experience pain in the chest, hoarseness in the morning, or trouble swallowing. You may feel like you have food stuck in your throat or like you are choking or your throat is tight. GERD can also cause a dry cough and bad breath.

listen to bmg. that's been studying to be a Dr. for a yr. It's bad stuff & can even cause cancer if not taken care of. Go to a gastroenterologist & let him check you. There are meds for it,but you can change your diet to get well also. Don't eat spicy food, alot of dairy food, & never lay down until 2 hrs. after eating. Also watch anything acidy like fruit. Good luck!
