Your kidding right? It's a brand new Playstation model and they will sell the most of them at christmas. Think about it like a company would..."how will I make the most money?" "make it way over priced and sell it with a game making it more expensive and then people will think they just got a really good deal!!"
Sorry, I'm a little disgruntled at the moment and commen sense would have answered that question or heck even amazon.com could have!

They will not have any sales for Christmas. What you will get is a bundle if you want. They will bundle you the PS3 with games or controller or whatever you might need to buy separate. This will increase you spending, but you will get it at a discounted price than buying each separately retail.

The PS3 will be highly priced for the first 6 months normally and maybe the first 2 years. I don't think there will be any deals worth getting within the first 6 months of release.

Yeah, but at $500 you might as well buy a computer. I think it's way too much money for a system designed for games and if it's the same games you want, that are made for PS3, get an emulator program to play on it. You'll get better graphics and a lot more.

At Christmas Time usually lots of discounts are happening, so I think it's quite possible that your PS3 will also be at a discount. However make sure you get one in time, as for many other customers will also be looking ahead for purchasing one.

they are all my well known Spring brings interior the hot, summer season is the exciting time of heat from the solar and water for swimming and cooking outdoors. Then comes fall the colors are captivating and the air is cool. No, it won't, because it would be a waste. PS3 will be so new they won't take down the price for a long time. Also, it will be in such high demand as a gift that they would lose money by lowering the price.

I think they will jack the price up because they know so many people will be buying it for their kids! I would get it like a week after christmas because that is when the price MIGHT lower!

Honestly, no. PS3 is coming out especially for christmas, so they definately won't be having discounts on it. I mean XBox 360 didn't, so PS3 definately wont. Sorry.

Most likely yes it will but I dont think you will see a big change in price I my self alredy have one (the first shipment went to london) It was 600$ there so be prepared to spend money
