Lots of good ones but one of the best is got to be Stevia. An herbal tea from the Guarani people of Para guay, it is called K Ah He E, in their language. It is very sweet and best mixed with something else, like green or black tea but can can be drunk by itself. it is considered a gift of the Gods and used as a cure all. It has been scientifically studied by both Brazilians and Japanese and found to be effective in reducing the sugar in the blood, thus excellent for diabetics. An excellent sweetener, it must be politics why it isn't being used automatically in the US instead of the dangerous diet sweeteners. And also it has no glycemic index or calories to speak of so it is far better than sugar.

As with any beverage, it depends on what else you are having. For generic tea, try longjing tea from Hangzhou, China. If you are eating Chinese food, try Pu Er tea from Yunnan, China, or Jasmine Tea. The brits like Darjeeking Tea from India. Captain Picard likes Hot Earl Grey Tea. Health Freaks all like green tea, which is sort of Japanese.

First flush darjeeling, the first flush of tea of the season.

It is from various places, but I get it in Harrods Food Halls in London, England.

I thoroughly recommend it, the flavour is unmistakably sublime and really this is the best tea I have ever tasted (and I am very english, so aside from PG Tips and Tetley Tea, I have tried a fair few. Though can anyone tell me where I can get a personal chimp to serve it?

Red Bush Tea (Rooibos) from South Africa - you can drink it hot or cold and it is great on a really hot day with lemon and ice.
