Well actually the korean war never ended, almost every day shots are fired across the DMZ, and in the 90's the North Koreans sunk a couple of South Korean ships. So I think your question should be "Do you think the Korean war will escalate?" I think North Korea and South Korea will always be a palestine and Israel, but I dont feel that there will ever be a full out war like back in the 40's and 50's, but I do believe there will always be tension.

i have been answering questions in this example all day, so the following i bypass lower back. First, the U. S. picked aspects lower back in 1941 on the start of WW2. because that 1945, the U. S. dollar has been the bottom overseas money for forex. 1945 changed into also the 365 days the Korea changed into divided into north and south. the U. S. chosen it really is area then. truly, it changed into the U. S. that drew the unique line without enter from the Korean human beings. Stalinist Russia agreed to this. besides, lower back to the dollar being base overseas money. because of that and our reasonable entanglements, the U. S. won't be able to be impartial in overseas affairs. there is likely not some thing at your position of abode which could not quickly or circuitously the outcome human beings commerce with overseas countries. i'm particular you own issues made in Japan, China, Korea, Germany, and so on. multiple the nutrition you eat comes from international. the computer you used to ask your question changed into low-cost through overseas commerce. for this reason, the U. S. is in contact by using default. Now, about the conflict heating up, because of the financial disaster that ought to befall the a techniques East if this variety of element befell, China will finally help calm issues down as they have not some thing to achieve by using letting NK proceed in this kind and much to lose in the journey that they do enable it. lower back, it really is the money. NK has executed such issues as this for years. it really is in ordinary words that it would not continually make the front pages. do somewhat analyze and word what number unprovoked killings of South Koreans that North Korea has dedicated because that 1960. They attempt this in cycles, so do not get too alarmed except some thing extra provocative takes position on South Korean soil. So, in case you want to assist ward off the present (same because that 1953) conflict from heating up extra, persevering with funding China by using shopping for at WalMart and HP.

Under George Bush, I would have to say, probably not. The reason is because of his involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan. I do not think he will get the support from the public if he were to go to war with N. Korea. If Bush considers dropping bombs in N. Korea, it will likely escalate and you saw what happened after the quick invasion in Iraq, CHAOS ensued. The Bush administration is probably aware of this and applying a military solution may end up with too many unforeseen events and all of them BAD.

What is interesting is that N. Korea knows it which is why they are getting a lot of mileage with their antics. You could say that the U.S. has been drawn in a corner with this one.

The question is, if the U.S. is not involved in any conflict, will N. Korea still apply the same antics?

Nope. Not like the last Korean War, anyway. If our loony commander-in-chief wants a war with Korea this time, it will be a nuclear war, with the probable direct involvement of nuclear powers Russia and China. I wouldn't advise it. Their missles pose a threat to South Korea, no one else. Let them settle their problems themselves, let's not let Korea be a nuclear Iraq War.
