No, god is too busy not existing to care.

The problem is that most people assume that God doesn't care what His followers do or believe, that God didn't ever say what to believe, and or isn't actively involved right now at this very moment in human society gathering people to Himself.

A little study of History, both pre Judaic, Judaic, and Christian, shows us that YHWH gathers people together in a very specific and definite group. The entirety of the OT and NT is a description of what it means to be a part of the followers of God and what this group looks like. So yes, God very much does care what you are doing, for he has spent a lot of time developing and forming His society.

I will leave it up to you to read enough of scripture and history to determine which is the correct Church.

Each denomination has their own interpretation of what the Bible says about certain things. Only GOD knows if one of the denominations is closer to the truth than another. But I think God wants people to worry less about the denomination and more about what the Bible says about salvation. (Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.) People are the ones who make a big deal about denominations, not God.

Yes. He cares. But apparently he still thinks your religion is wrong.

EDIT: Reach out and touch faith.

I don't think God really cares "How" you practice your beliefs, just so long as you "DO".
