All you have to do is go to the counter (or walk up to any employee, whichever you are most comfortable doing) and let them know that you are to start "today" and ask to speak to the manager. It's perfectly alright and understandable to be nervous, walking in not really knowing anyone and not really sure what to do. You'll be fine though, the jitters disappear quicker than ya may think. Good luck.

Igoring the rude poster... Just go up to the counter, introduce yourself saying something like "Hi, I'm Jane. Today's my first day. You do I need to see?"

You'll be fine. Good luck with the job!

don't worry. usually they give you orientation first before you start. they are aware that you are new so you don't do the difficut task yet.
