Im 5'3 I weigh 157 and I have size DD boobs. My butt is a normal size my thighs arent huge, but I have a little meat on my tummy (not much though) My friends tell me im gorgeus and pretty. I can't see it. Im not alright with my weight. I have a low self confindence. Sometimes I even wonder if my mirror shows me the wrong image. Mostly I think people lie to me. Other then my friends I've been mad fun of my entire life. I walk somewhat pigeon toed (with my feet going inward) I've inproved on that. I've been called dirty and other names and have never been acepted as popular. I think it depends on how your treated by others.

I am slightly overweight and working on that right now...well, not right NOW....but you know what I mean. Anyway, I do have quite a bit of self confidence. It comes from having a lot of life experiences and learning and growing. My Mom also helped a great deal, telling me that I had a mouth and I should use it if people are trying to step on me. She was formerly in the Army and really instilled a sense of confidence in me. My weight may play a part in some slight insecurities that I have about clothes that I wear and stuff like that, but overall it does not effect my confidence level. I know quite a few overweight people who are incredibly self-confident.

185 lbs. and 6' tall. I guess that's normal.
I am self confident although I have not always been. I was extremely shy in high school. However, when I went to college I became more confident. My confidence was increased by purposefully doing things I did not really believe I could do or that were fairly tough to master. Practicing martial arts really helped me gain confidence in my self. I believe that exercise of any kind helps to build self confidence as well. I have followed this method for 20 years with personal success.

I don't think self-confidence has to do totally about weight. I know a few overweight people who are more self-confident then me, someone who is of normal weight. Being shy can make you less confident, has nothing to do with weight. Coming from a disfunctional family can make you less self-confident. Someone constantly telling you that you are not that smart, etc.
People with those problems need to see someone professionally. There are underlying problems that causes someone to have low self-esteem. You can acquire self-confidence with the help of someone and you have to believe in yourself.

I'm normal weight and I have self-confidence. I get my self confidence by believing in myself and not giving up on the only person that I can control,me.

As to the question of weight?
Well, I am a voluptuous woman of stately girth, and I figure that if I can't hide it, I might as well decorate it!!! ;-]P
I really don't care if anyone disagrees with me or doesn't like me. I figure that as long as I'm acting in love -- the Work that God/Life has assigned me -- then I can move on in confidence. I will no longer live in fear of any kind, nor apologise for anyone else's distain, mistrust, or un-love.
Self-confidence is really a matter of trusting yourself because you know yourself like a really fine friend. This will set you free.
It not a matter of conjuring up..."I believe, I believe!...??" But it is a process of believing because you know truth about about the Real You that you are, and know that-- no matter what any one says, no matter what comes your way -- the Real you can never be harmed or affected by anything that is not as Real and True as you are:
You are an Eternal Spirit Being having a unique experience on this physical plane, so get on board and enjoy the ride!!
Love & Light!

I had a severe drinking problem for 10 years, i spiralled downward into depression and total lack of self-confidence. I quit drinking 2 years ago, started working out and looking after myself again. I am 37 years old, 5. 8" and 125 lbs, I feel marvelous and am brimming with self confidence now. I found all this within myself.

Too fat, too skinny, too short, too tall, these are all the excuses we give for no having self confidence. Realizing that were all the same and the every one has some problems that bothers them. Being out there meeting people and
becoming relaxed with who you are will help you over come self confidence.

Overweight, and yes, I have self-confidence.
It's not about what you weigh. It's about who you are and how you were raised.
And yes, you're wrong. But I'm glad you were curious. You've exposed a bias that I'm betting several people who answer this question will have.

I am 5.4" and 62 kgs. I am bubbling with self confidence.
My source of self confidence is eagerness to learn new things
update my knowledge, curiosity approach, taking feedback from others, keep looking for role models and taking lessons from their failure and success.Always think positively.
