Ok I love curly hair but it takes to long for my hair to curl (last time I curled my hair it took 2 hours and a ton of hairspray yup yup partly because I have long hair but mostly it’s because my hair is really straight!)

So what is a (or what are some) GREAT curling product(s) for straight hair that work amazing and looks good (and if possible speed up the curling time)

My hair is really long too (down in the middle of my bottom) and really thick. Therefore, I have a hell of a time keeping it curled. I have to put my hair in curlers and hairspray the hell out of it. Three days later I can take the curlers out and then I have about 2 hours before my hair is back to normal.

I went in for a perm today and was denied.

You might have better luck. It will damage your hair, but you'll have curls.

I haven't come across any good products yet.

Yeah, I know...helpful. Sorry, but I'm in the same boat.

You have a few options here.
1. Get a perm.
2. Try KMS Curl Up. You have to buy it from a salon but it works for me.
3. Get a crimper that puts ripples in your hair like a curling iron does but less loopy.
Good luck!

Maybe role it up at night and sit under the dryer or just trim it into a style that is easy to manage or get a perm. I would call your local salon. good luck

You can apply setting lotion or mouse. Roll your hair with one of the product, becareful with the amount you apply. (just enough to dampen the hair) If you hair dry easier, let dry until you are ready to take it down, if your hair holds water, get under the hair dryer. If you did a good roll up set, you shouldn't have to roll your hair again until you are ready to wash and set it.

My advice is that you go on your dermatologist. It appears like you've sebhorrheac (sp?) dermatitis of the scalp. in case you haven't tried it yet, you ought to favor to attempt out some pine tar shampoo (Neutrogena T-Gel). at the moment, sidestep any stress on the problem of styling (products containing alcohol or heated procedures). yet many times, see your clinical professional. Take care, TxR
