How much do you spend every time you do your groceries? What kinds of foods do you buy? Do you buy things to make from strach or frozen foods, or canned foods?

I shop about 2 times a week becuase I like to have fresh fruits and veggies in the house. I also have a family of 4 and I do used frozen veggies and things like that sometimes if you are running off somewhere it is easier I just try to have fresh salad or fruit with every meal (the color plate theory works in my house) Also my kids eat all most anything becuase when they we little we told them that everything tastes good. I use coupons and things like that. I think as long as everything is in moderation and there are no allergies to food as long as your family exersises and have colorful plates it is okay to eat whatever you enjoy we spend about 150.00 per week (it is a little high becuase I pack all the lunches for my kids school and my husband for work so I end up spennding a little more on good cuts of meat but it is worth it becuase they are not out there spending money on "to go lunches and things like that.)

We go shopping once a week--usually on the weekends.
I try to plan out what I'll be making for the week and make a list of what we need. We buy a variety of foods--some canned, some frozen and lots to make from scratch. On our busy nights, it's nice to take something right from the freezer to the oven. We spend anywhere from $100-$125 a week.

Once a week. I buy a variety of all foods so if I need something quickly I can just throw it in the oven. Then on nights where I know I have the time I can make it from scratch. I spend about 100 to 125 a week.

I don't have kids, my husband, me, his brother and wife live at our house. We grocery shop every couple weeks and spend about $150..and have to buy milk in between because we drink about 3 or 4 gallons a week! I do most of the cooking cuz she likes to do the dishes, its a good trade...I make lots of casseroles, tacos, pastas, roasts, potatoes, anything easy. I try to make a 2 week menu so I know what I am going to the store for and try to buy things that can be used in 2 or 3 meals so I can buy bigger items.
Email me if you want any recipes...I have a HUGE family cookbook that is wonderful!

My mom has a daycare so usually we go shopping 2-3 times a week. We buy everything from poptarts to bananas, rice to OJ, and everything else. Usually we spend $180 on the biggest one and then the rest of the trips are usually $30 and under! We shop at a super wal-mart so we don't just buy food we buy like toothpaste and towels and stuff like that!

Good Luck:)

We shop at least 4 times a week ( or more). We tend to buy things as we need them, and I love going shopping.
