Depends on how they're made. I like them paper thin with a crispy peppered batter.

I only like the kind that everyone else seems to hate... The ones made with diced onions rather than whole onion slices. The whole onion ones always pull the whole way out of the breading on the first bite... the diced onion ones never do that. ^_^

I hate onion rings,they taste horrible. I know my friend loves onion rings in ranch dressing.

Onion rings (sliced raw onion) yes.
Onion rings (onion covered in batter & fried) no thanks

But I'm not a big fried food fan.

i love onion rings when they're done right -- sweet onion (Maui, Vidalia, Walla Walla) with just the right amt of batter -- not too much batter/breading and when you bite into it, the whole onion doesn't come out with no breading.
