Ok so i'm in the store and i'm walking down this aisle and this young guy probably about 19 or so( i'm 18)... who works at the store starts coming down the aisle towards me and says to me hi how are you doing in a very friendsly way...ok so i don't find that most people at this store do that...and it just seemed rather friendly. My question to you..guys/girls is do you think this was just being friendly or something more...do you think maybe he was intimidated by me and so thats why he did it? What are your thoughts...i'm really really curious.

people say hello to each other.
Possibly you made eye contact with him and he felt it was OK to speak to you, he might be a nice and friendly person or simply he like you.
If he would be intimidated, he would not say hello to you, he would have gone round you and watch you from the distance, the fact that he smiles shows his warmth towards you. You similar age, so potential friends. Go shopping there tomorrow and see his reaction.. it can be a way to nice friendship

Intimidated by you for walking down the isle? I doubt it, maybe he is jsut one of the few in that store that just knows how to be a friendly person, and to treat customers like a friend. But, I suspect he liked the way you looked, and wanted to get your attention, even if it were for just a second or two. If you go there again, and it happens again, say, I am well, or whatever, and how are you.......then you may find out what the friendliness is all about

I think he was attracted to you and i find that if people are attracted to you they seem to act for friendly around you.. on the other hand he could just be trying to be nice. But my opion is that the only reason he said hi how are you is because he was attracted to you.I do have one more suggestion which is i suggest to you that you go back to the store when he is working there and see if he always talks with you because his job is to be nice to the customers if he is always talking to you then i think he might be interested and if you are interested give him some signs that you are interested in him. I hope my thoughts may have helped you in a way anyways good luck.

I work at a grocery store, I'm a checker...I feel like I'm a friendly person in general. My Fiance (3 year relationship) says I'm too friendly, and I don't mean to be. Because I'm so happy most of the time, it pours out of me. You may see him again greeting another customer, the only way to tell if it's something more is to see him greet another person.

Girl, I think that you could be putting more into what it really was. He could have been just being nice and friendly. How about just going back to the store and seeing what happens. Just try constantly going back to the store, especially when he's there. Because a lot of people find it nice to just speak to people and he could of been just speaking to be nice and friendly.

I think he was just being friendly. There is a guy who works at the grocery store I go to, and he's real friendly, he'll spark up conversation, and go out of his way to say hi even if he's really busy......but it's just him working. It's nothing to assume too much of.

If he says this to most people other than just people his age than he is just being friendly, but if you see that you were the only one he talked to he finds you attractive. He might even be hitting on all the girls, so you really don't know.

Maybe he was just being nice. If you really want to find out, ask him.
What would be the worst that would happen? He says NO? So you find a new place to shop.
Best case scenario is that you have a great time on a date with him.
Take the risk. If you never task risks, you will never reap the rewards.

um I think you are just making a big deal out of nothing, maybe he was just being nice and wanted to help you out. Now if he was following you through the entire store then you probably have a problem there.

Maybe he's interested in you and just isn't sure how to approach you. Go back to the store when he's there and when you see him go up and say Hi and ask how his day is going. Tell him my name is ??????? Get a convo going it shouldn't tkae long to see if he was simply being friendly or if hes interested in you.
