How do I keep the peace in my family?

My family isn't getting along, i'm only 17 and my brothers are doing crazy stuff to upset my parents and my parents are fighting with each other. I feel like the middle man (girl). How do I keep the peace?

you gotta have a heart of a peacemaker to bring peace to your home. sometimes all you can do is keep quiet and look at them. then when they see you all too quiet they will ask why. now you'll have caught their attention and tell them in a nice way that fighting only makes things worse.

Do you have a good relationship with your parents or get along well with your siblings? Is so, you can be peace yourself (peaceman/girl) :) and be the bridge between your parents and siblings. In your own skillful way you can help them both understand each other's perspectives but otherwise with time, things ought to change. Take care!

I'm in the same situation. I've found the only thing I can do is stay out of it and work on my own happiness. For me, interfering just makes them more upset.

stop,it is more than obvious that you can not change their behavior,just stay out of it.it will not be to long and you can move out,your family will have to find a way to make peace with out driving you crazy.

there is really nothing you can do but stay out of it and hope they work it out.If you try to get involved you run the risk of getting one or all mad at you also. just let them know you are there if they need someone to talk to but you are not taking sides.

try to encourage your brothers to do better or talk to your parents, be helpful to all your family members, and las but not leaset pray for better and good times

it's hard cuz my family is like that i just stay out of it and sooner or later it will calm down
