The one thing I have learned in life is that you do have to constantly prove yourself everyday. It can be to God, it can be to yourself, or it can be to stuck up egomaniacs who think their opinion of you defines who you are. So, I guess the job interview analogy would be correct.

It's whatever you believe it to be. If that's what you believe then I feel sorry for you.

Don't the JWs have some crazy thing about getting a ticket to get into heaven? Or is it some other religion/cult (depending how you view these things)?

Interesting perspective...hmmmm. Life is a series of lessons. They are brought in the guise of our life experiences. What we do with those lessons brings light to our soul in the measure of our having earned it....just as we earn the level of our spirit in the afterlife.

Jesus already died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins. That means HIS PURPOSE OF DYING WAS SO YOU COULD GO TO HEAVEN.
Salvation is already given to those who believe, you do not have to earn your way in.
