have you ever heard of any one ever being allergic to honey ?what are some of the side effects ?

lots of people are allergic to honey -- all an allergy is your body's way of telling you to stay away from something.

more common allergies: shellfish, peanuts, eggs, etc.

allergic reactions range from: wheezing, swelling (lips or affected area) to total (anaphalactic) (go to the hospital immediately)

My mother said she was allergic to honey after she was stung over 20 times as a child.

yes. New parents are instructed by doctors to NEVER give honey to a newborn or children under the age of one due to honey allergies. You are not alone. Allergy to honey: relation to pollen and honey bee allergy.

NO but that would totally suck! I have a friends mom who's allergic to Peanut Butter! That would drive me crazy, I love Peanut Butter!!

It is a very rare thing to find any person allergic to honey.Allergic symptoms may be indigestion, common cold,rash etc.,

i study medicine and we say that "every thing under the sun even the sun can cause allergy" and it have many side effects from sensation of discomfort, skin itching and rashes to shock
