A few ribs up from the bottom on my left side, there seems to be a pain there. Last night I almost fell asleep, but the pain woke me up. The pain is fast and sharp, but happens every few hours. What can it be?

It could be one of several things depending on what area. It could be colon, spleen, or a muscle cramp. If it is that serious the best thing to do is go to the doctor.

It could just be a muscle cramp. I used to get them all the time. If it really gets bad, go to the doctor and have it checked. You can never be too safe.

It could be tons of things. Pain is sign that something is wrong. Go see your doctor immediately!
