Theres this girl and she likes me and i like her theres just one problem. She's still not over her ex,but we want to be together. She just needs to close the last doors before she opens another.Her best friend told me yesterday though that she's just waiting for me to step up. What should I do?

Either be the rebound guy and know that you are just that or wait and see what happens after she is done with the rebound guy.

Well mate you are the only one who can help her to get over her ex just talk to her and heal her heart if it's broken please don't let her get in touch with her ex just incase she keeps on crying about her ex
