Ok.I like this new guy and I might want to date him,but he really likes sports and knows a lot about sports.I dont know very much about sports.I am scared he might not like me if he finds out I dont know very much about sports.I am a girlie-girl.Do you think he will like me if I dont really know about football and that other stuff?His name is ~football's life~.

I'm all girl, and i like some sports. The important thing is not to be afraid to admit that you don't know much about it. Just let him know that if thats his thing, then you are really ok with it. I personally would not change his sports watching habits. Guys have a certain way they like to watch sports, mostly with other guys. Let him know that it's cool with you. If you are interestesd in learning, ask to join in. Don't be afraid to ask questions. If he is a true sports fan he would love talking about what he knows. So ask. also look things up online to get a little heads up on things.
Be true to yourself, though. Don't pretend to be a macho sports guru. It's a guy thing. Sit back and learn the game and love it later. Good luck!

Girl, don't worry about that a bit. Most men don't expect women to care about sports. Just accept it that men do,though not all men.I don't care for sports,personally I think they are a waste of time if your not in participation. My point is, he won't care if you like sports or not,so long as you understand that he does. Besides, it might cater to his male ego a bit because he knows a bunch of worthless sports trivia that he can baffle you with. An added bonus to having a girlfriend who doesn't care for sports is that during that crucial play,he has somebody to get up and get that other beer or whatever.

Most guys won't care. They just wanna get into your pants. It wouldn't hurt to know a little about sports. Talk to your Dad about sports. He will love talking to you.
