I think there are a variety of view points here. I haven't seen much educated logic on the side of the illegal immigrant supporters yet, but hope springs eternal.

The truth of the matter is that someone in your family at one point in time WAS an illegal immigrant. They had to face the same type of stereotypical, ignorant comments/attitudes that are still being seen today. America was founded on the back of immigration. Where everyone is accepted, regardless of race, sexuality or nationality. Sometimes immigrants have to come into this country illegally - not all of them but some do. They don't have a choice when they need to leave where they currently are for a better life for themselves and their family. You know without a doubt you would do whatever you had to do to make a better life for your family. We are the only country that has an open door policy for immigrants (meaning that we do allow immigrants to come in, live, work, by land etc) and we are the number 1 country in the world. I think that says a lot.

The primary reason for all the neg emmotion is that Illegal Aliens have not showed respect for our laws or our country. This tends to PO folks that have to live in law and order. When you make concessions and live a certain way, and then see others not doing the same thing (especially from another place) it angers.
We also, in our liberal orientation in the USA have forgone our rights to reason. Things are quite out of control and have to be returned to a status quo of law and order.
Playground tactics come from lack of a playground monitor. Either the teach is in the can or is not on sight and so they kids start to squirm and fight and play outside the rules.
Get the teach out here (law and order:Border Police) and get the playground in order. It will become a kinder, gentler world in which to solve the bruised ego's of all involved in some sanity rather than the chaos of illegal immigration!

I know what you are trying to say, but people are so angry about this on both sides that attitudes are growing daily. I didn't care much one way or another, until the "day without an immigrant" boycott. I got so angry when I saw these people who are breaking the law march in my city carrying a foreign flag demanding the same rights I have, that now I have an attitude. You know, it is what it is.

Not quite true ... there are some very reasonable attitudes in this forum from time to time, as you will find if you spend enough time here ... grant you, some people are just kids ... some get a bit hot under the collar ... as for racist excuses ... well, if you are against illegal immigation, you're ALWAYS called a racist ... that's the name of the game apparently....

Did you see the post where someone apparently 'jacked your account? Said you were on welfare etc? The viewpoint we're missing here is that there's a prevalent hostile attitude becoming popular within the mexicans that's kind of dangerous for just your average person walking down the street, minding their own business. I've seen it in other groups, too, there's a lot of contempt toward actual, bona-fide US residents among the 'newcomers', I personally don't care for the idea of 20 million 'unknowns' walking the streets of our country, purpose unknown, ostensibly to seek work but...you know how that goes...

immigration, even if unlawful or legal is an truly complicated situation of maximum value that could want to on the on the spot be tackled and resolved by using Congress and this administration. that's perhaps the purely situation that could want to ascertain the themes in nationwide protection, wellbeing and Unemployment. the actuality of the count is that there already exists an unlawful immigration situation that is accessible, and as admitted in accordance to authorities estimates style between 12-20 million people. Why that's of maximum value: As to nationwide protection - united statesa. can't declare to be a secure haven once you've some 12-20 million people residing lower than the shadows of society. enable us admit the undeniable actuality that there are some undesirable eggs between those 12 - 20 million who would have a diverse concepts-set in the direction of united statesa.'s protection. So, till the authorities resolves first, the immigration situation, that is nationwide protection is continuously a huge question mark. As to wellbeing Reform: you won't be able to bypass a wellbeing Reform bill without understanding what to do with the probably integration of about 12 - 20 million people into your equipment, if favor be. As to Unemployment: you won't be able to bypass a respectable Jobs bill without understanding the impression of including up 12 - 20 million people lining up for unemployment assessments or lining up for jobs, or the impression of the inability of 12 -20 million clients and their buying skill, if in case the authorities makes a decision to deport all of them. i think so smitten by this example, because it makes me curse on the sorry state of our political equipment. Our coverage makers do not ignore that there is an present situation, they understand the answer, yet yet, they could't even choose a thanks to bypass about it. Sucks....
