Dumpee hurts the most, because they usually do not see the relationship coming to an end.

I've always been the dumper, except once, and that one time, hurt for months prior.

Only except to that, is if the dumper is not truly wanting to end the relationship, but does it out of fear of commitment, but still loves the other person.......
That hurts too, for both people involved.

If you are at all hurt by being the dumper than you love the dumpee... why dump them? However it is universally accepted that the dumpee is hurt more, for most people don't break up with someone they love so the other party was trapped in an unrequited love and that is the worst. I hope that made sense... Best wishes

I have had the unfortunate pleasure of being the dumper more often in my relationships and it hurts like hell. At least as the dumpee, you can be pissed AT the other person ... when you're the dumper, you just end up feeling guilty & pissed at yourself which makes the whole situation twice as ugly.

I have always been the dumper, but somtimes being the dumper can hurt more than being the dumpee because hurting someone else hurts yourself as well

I'd be the dumper. If you are the dumpee, it hurts more because getting dumped is a sign of rejection.

always the dumper.... but even so done nicely... the dumpee is always left with self esteem issues for a while...not to mention a feeling of not having any control over the situation...so being the dumpee is much more painful...

Dumper, you feel bad doing it, but its usually a relief too because you want out of the relationship. If you are the dumpee, you are upset either because you really liked them or you didn't and are just pissed they beat you to the punch.

i may be the dumpee. i'm not the only to promote off people, and being a dumpee seems to verify me in simple terms nice, because...i'd continually ask your self if I did the right element, being the dumper. I propose, you'll ask your self in case you truly loved the dumpee in case you dumped them, and would not in any respect understand. So i actually choose being the dumpee.

he dumper because usually when someone is ready to dump someone they have their mind made up and when they finally dump the person it is a relief that they got it over with, because now they dont have to go through whatever was bothering them anymore, but the dumpee always gets hurt alot more...
