I just want to say I'm sorry and I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive the intolerant biggoted Christians who force their beliefs on others. Some Christians out there are pretty blatantly mean-spirited. I think we are all walking contradictions in one form or another. Some more than others though i guess.

The Bible I read is more about a bunch of messed up people that God is constantly pursuing, loving, liking and redeeming.

The problem and beauty of it all is we're stuck with each other. Jesus tells us to love our neighbor, and then takes it a step further and says to love our enemy. If I love Jesus and want to follow Him I don't get to pick and choose who my neighbor or my enemy is. But I think that is one of the places that God shows up...when we try to figure out how to relate to each other.

I'm not trying to minimize what you've experienced in terms of intolerant, biggoted Christians, but the truth is there are Christians who love Jesus and are trying to figure out how to relate to the world around them and how they fit in to God's bigger redemptive story.

concept in God has no longer some thing to do with salvation. James 2:19 says, "you've faith that there is one God. good! Even the demons believe that--and shudder." And God did make Himself blindingly glaring. no longer only in distinctive manifestations contained in the former testomony, yet got here contained in the flesh contained in the recent. The Bible records the eyewitness testimony. yet you, for in spite of reason, pick to reject it as unreliable. in spite of the indisputable fact that you justify it received't help you later on the Judgment. large minds have tried to disprove those money owed contained in the Bible, and performance in many circumstances switched over subsequently, because they objectively examined the info. One celebration is Simon Greenleaf. He became a founding father of the Harvard regulation college. He sought to disprove the money owed of the Resurrection, because Christianity stands or falls on those money owed. After interpreting those money owed, he admitted that such testimony may upward thrust up in a court of regulation. there are a form of others i ought to cite. yet when you're actual in search of, God does exhibit Himself. His be conscious is an effective position to start up.

Their souls are safe, it's their minds that need work. Bigots are ruled by fear. Unfortunately, most of what I've seen and heard about Muslims, are stories of their deliberate attempts to bring fear to the lifes of others. Most people are only calm, and peaceful on the outside, inside is a hot cauldren of fear. If Muslims continue to add heat to the lifes of people in general, the bigots will be the first to shed their thin mantel. Bigots may need something to laugh at, like a muslim super-hero comic character. (acceptable to Islam of course). That way, everyone can laugh, and chill-out.

If they tell the truth about islam they will add to their reward in Heaven.

If one of the Christian Faith tries to "force" someone to listen and make a pretence of faith... that "christian", if indeed he is truely, will be losing some reward in Heaven. The Christian Faith can not be spread at the point of a sword. Any who try will fail... look to history, it has never worked...God will not permit it to. Look what happened to the crusaders.

All, who are of the Christian Faith, will go to heaven. Some will receive more reward there than others, but all go. Not all who claim or "think" they are, are truly Christians. there are far, far fewer of the Christian Faith than what the world percieves

First you must define the word "Christians". There are many who call themselves by that name and do not know what it means. There are varying shades and branches of "Christianity". True Christianity shows God's love.

However, God only saves the souls of those who call upon His salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ. Accepting Jesus as Savior and Washer-Clean from all sin is just the beginning step in God's process of recreating and reclaiming human beings.
"Jesus saith unto him, 'I am the way the Truth, and the Life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

To really grow in the Christian Pathway one must get to know Him, walk like Him, talk like Him. That comes from spending time in His "Word", the Bible, and from talking to Him, and spending time in His Presence. Those who do this exemplify His Love and Personality.
"No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love has been brought to full expression through us." I John 4:12

Next you must define the words "intolerant" and "bigoted". I don't believe anyone can "force" their beliefs on anyone. Jihad is the only method I've ever heard of where one religion tries to force their beliefs on others. Because in Jihad's methodology, if the others don't respond not only is force used, but those who choose not to believe are killed.

Either God's Spirit enlightens your mind to see The One Who Is The Truth or your mind will remain darkened by lack of spiritual understanding. Why don't you start by addressing your question to God, instead? Let Him answer your questions. Believe me, if you are serious about it - He will!
"Call unto me and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not". Jeremiah 33:3

Actually we all arive in the afterlife exactly what our earth life living has fitted us to occupy. It is a question of light (spiritual) drawing into the light (spiritual). The manmade rules of any religion will not override your own personal responsibility to love and light.

I certainly hope not. Going to church on Sunday doesn't make you a good person. These people need to realize that living a good life IS a lifetime commitment. Apparently their precious little bible doesn't teach them that, and they have my sincere pity.
