will i recieve social security the rest of my life? im 69 and worry they will cut me off

If you're getting it as a result of age, it should continue until your death.

The only way they will cut it off is if you go to prison.

I am on Social Security. You will receive it until your death. There is no cut off date. You can contact the Social Security Administration to verify or ask questions at 1-800-792-1213.

You get social security until you die. If you are on social security because a parent died, you recieve social security until you turn 18 or until you graduate high school if you have already turned 18 and are in high school. If you recieve social security because a spouse died, you recieve social security for your whole life unless you get remarried.
