Do you have her on mood control medication? If not you're not doing her any favors. Get her to a doctor and get her on some of the drugs out there. There is a new patch out called Daytrana for ADHD kids with Bipolar that stops the cycling release of ADHD meds like Concerta, Ritalin or Straterra. Try it... it rocks.

A great, great book is "The Explosive Child". Read the reviews on Amazon... it will change your life.

People with both ADHD and Bipolar tend to do really well when you establish and maintain a regular daily routine. I don't know how old your daughter is, but making a schedule and posting it where she can see it and adhere to it could really help. Also, making sure that she's compliant with her medication regime is really important to managing her mood swings. Hope this helps! :)

psychiatratry and more important the right combination of meds for her. (i.e. the combination that works, which is found by trial & error).
