The immigrants that enter legally are part of the USA. It's the criminals who entered illegally who should not be considered part of the USA. They should be discriminated against because they are criminals. They need to be deported back to their home countries.
We don't need nor do we want the illegal immigrants.

Immigrants themselves have to do the work, not Americans. Immigrants who come to the United States need to assimilate, become educated, learn English (they can keep their own language, provided they learn English and can speak it in public settings, such as schools and in the workplace), and come here legally and stay here legally.
Discrimination against immigrants is a sad product of prejudices always boiling about skin tone, varying culture, and language; people nowadays will look at a hispanic-looking individual and assume the "worst" - he's an illegal, he can't speak English, he retains his culture and rejects America's, etc. Only with work on both sides can immigrants once more be accepted into America without being constantly discriminated against. But it's not just America that should work - immigrants need to as well, and they need to do it legally.

thole13 I don't think Americans think of mexicans as second class citizens, however they are citizens of Mexico, not citizens of the US. It isn't the United States responsibility to help them, it's the united states responsibility to help it's citizens. I think we're beginning to struggle with the burdens they place. And if the US doesn't do anything about it, it won't stop. It's mexico's problem, but so long as the US is a haven for mexico's unwanted mexico isn't going to do anything about it. So should we fix the problem or should we wait till it builds up pressure and explodes in our face.
As for what we can do so immigrants are not discriminated against? First off, if you want to be in America, you should show some love and/or appreciation of America. I'm tired of foreigners who talk about how much they hate america, if you don't want to be here, don't be here, simple as that.
If you wanted to take it a step further I'd say get rid of race identification in it's entirety, I always thought that was a stupid notion and the concept of being part of a group upon birth simply because you shared a common ancestor is garbage, well maybe not in and of itself but when people make cliques(which they do, btw, open your eyes) because of it, One can't help but wonder how retarded we really are and why the hell illegal immigrants want to come here in the first place.

What makes you think that every immigrant deserves to be part of the USA? Discrimination is important and essential-it means we choose who can live here. That is why we have a process whereby people can legally apply for and gain citizenship.

Okay immigrants are a part of the U.S, the legal ones are. Illegals are not. How is it discriminating to demand people follow our laws? If we gave them special treatment, that would be discriminating against legal citizens. You need to get your head checked.

First we need to seal our borders and weed out the bad ones. Immigrants helped to build this country. The problem is now we are getting the worst of the worst coming here. Until we get a handle on those already here we certainly do not need anymore burdens!

its not what we can do its what they can do.
learn the language, and assimilate. dont tell me how much you miss your homeland.
as for illegals, they can just get the fvck out. Immigration needs to be controlled less we just become an over populated third world slave state which is what we are on track to becoming.
