You can't restore them but you can help keep them active with a daily 'brain' work out, eg... doing crossword puzzles. I've also heard that oily fish high in omega 3 fatty acids are very good for the whole body, not just the brain. Fresh salmon and tuna are good but not the tinned varieties!

At this point, brain cells can not be restored. Once they are gone, they are gone forever. With the way science is progressing today, I would not be surprised if brain cells become replacable in the future.

So, don't do anything to kill your brain cells, and you won't have to worry :0

You can't restore brain cells (I know, I have a bucket of dead ones), but you can exercise your brain by using it, constantly. Read, do crosswords, sudokos, learn a new language. The more you use your brain, the stronger it will be, the smarter you will be, and you will remain sharp.

Once they are lost, they are lost and gone forever. As you grow older you will realise this fact. Drinking is a major cause of damage - I don't know how true it is, but they say a hangover is the result of millions of brain cells dying. Injuries to the head, smoking, drinking as I just said causes loss. A healthy diet does not require extra vitamins, just keep reading and writing.........
