Try the major Abrahamic religions. I would head to Islam. There are many scientific things in it. Even the steps of pregnancy, of the creation of a child in his mother. You will not have to give up any science to believe in Islam.
Because in it God makes sure that everything is rational, so no one will ever have to believe in confusing crap like the Trinity.
You are very lucky. I hope you know this.
Many people are born to their religion and they accept it because they've been told it is the only right way.
But I picked my own religion, Islam. The gift of it wasn't given to me at birth. I had to seek it. And work harder than a person who was born to a religion.
Try Islam. It worked for me.
Research it. If you like what you hear or see; practice it for awhile. Then make the ultimate decision.
Make sure you head to real Muslims. Many people slander this religion. There should be a local mosque where you live.
May God be with you in all of your decisions. For He guides who he wishes and if he wants you, you should feel special. : ]

Burn nothing - they will help your intellect as you walk the spiritual / metaphysical path. "If a blind man leads another blind man, both will fall into a ditch." - Jesus
Check out the Gnostics and New Thought Christianity. This is a mental universe - all things must be considered in our quest for the Truth. Emmet Fox and Thomas Troward are some writers you may want to look at.
"He who does not gather with me scatters." -Jesus

I would never belong to any religion that wanted me to throw out my science text books! You might want to research religious philosophers and see if any of them have a line of thinking you find reasonable. Aquinas and Augustine were BIG on reason and Natural Law and all that....oh, and Jesus too! lol

Don't burn them, blindly follow science no matter how unproven any of the theories are. Especially global warming, Al Gore can be your god, and you can colonizes the moon with him and Steven Hawking.

Love isn't blind. Love is prevalent with the imperfection human beings all. Love accepts the imperfections if Love is venerated. (Love Trusts.) even as Love is betrayed, obstacles are prevalent so as that Love ought to proceed. guy is evil even as he suffers like to damage, and separates himself from Love. Friendship is Love separated by using defensive obstacles. How deep are you able to provide love and yet not offend? there is not any more beneficial Love then that a guy lay down his existence for yet another, yet will that different understand or cost that Love? Too many adult men (or women human beings..) have too small an information of love and take care of it as a trifling element. not seeing the cost of love they do damage for the sake of their hearts choose, and homicide Love.

Believe in yourself. But don't follow anything blindly to satisfy a need to belong.

If you would like to experience eternal life you should turn to the Lord. Christianity offers hope, mercy, a feeling of security and much more.

I think it's very interesting that the same people (agnostics or atheists) who whine about being judged for what they believe see no incongruity in bashing Christians for what they believe. Why can't we just agree to disagree and be done with it?

Atheism :)
If you would like to find a rational worldview, please do look into Theism (and Christian Theism in particular).
I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life ato Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).
For scientific and intellectual evidence for the existence of God, see http://www.godsci.org/gs/godsci/evidence.htm
Cordially,
John
