My opinion is that religion of any kind is a choice. As long as no one is being harmed who cares what a person believes in? Satanism has many misconceptions. As does many other religions or spiritualities.

Theistic Satanism, or what's traditionally called "Satan worship," is weirdly misunderstood by a lot of people. That doesn't mean it's a "nice" religion, but it doesn't become "evil" because Christianity thinks it's evil, any more than Christians are "evil" because Muslims in Iraq think so.

There's more than one type of Satanism, and not all things that call themselves "Satanism" have any "worship" involved at all--just like "Buddhism" doesn't mean "Buddha worshipper." (LaVey's Satanism is a form of atheism.)

And there are "satanic" or "luciferian" religions that aren't directly connected to Satanism, just like one can have "buddhistic" beliefs without being a "Buddhist"--or like you can have "scientific" thoughts without being a "scientist."

Why would you worship Satan?? I just don't see the logic behind it. But sure, people who do, will.

In a word, it's retarded. I can understand being an aetheist, which I consider myself to be, but why worship someone that's supposed to be the epitome of all evil. Idiots.

The same as worshipping anything else.

I'm not for it. There's not gonna be a good outcome for those who do. Why support a being who's sole purpose is to turn people from God? I really don't understand the attraction. I don't understand the long-term logic of it.

Satan, is a "Fallen Angel" and his only "Sin" was that he resented God because God (once he made man in his own image) put us above him. Now, wouldn't you be pissed off if your father put your little brother in charge of you!?

Satan is not the "Devil" we all make him out to be. But, he is just as much a "Figment" of your imagination as God is.........so......Knock yourself out!

I think it is an excuse for imbalanced, sick minds to inflict torture on others in the name of God or Satan.

Save yourself a lot of tragedy, trouble, and discrimination and just don't.

I find it to be very self indulgent, but then again many religions are.
