I think there must be more men than women. I say this because I have not seen a single woman since 2003 and I did an experiment online and created a fictional single woman online and got 75 hits on her in a matter of hours. But on my actual online ad I got nothing. I used a lady friend who is single and older than me as my control group in this test her results were about the same as mine for the fictional lady. I therefore must assume from that there are more men than women since my data shows that there is much fiercer competition to get a single woman than there is for a single man.
