I am gay and I am not really a Christian. Too Corrupt for me. But When is enough, enough? Here is the scenerio.. You spout off to a homosexual they are going to hell and state that I should be killed. Most likely I am not the first you have told this too.. You ask for forgiveness at church.. I don't though that it is a free pass.. It seems like that privilege should be revoked if you haven't learned to stop hate after so many attempts. Especially stating something like that to me, I am a very gentle person and I try to love everyone. I think god created homosexuals to put people's faith to the test. He doesn't make mistakes. Love Will Change the World.

Good point....and well said. I believe that it's only a free pass if there is understanding, remorse, regret, repentence, and a desire to change, on the part of the offender. Far too many so-called "Christians" and churches, for that matter, are too "full - of - religion" and not an ounce of Christianity. If NONE of us are perfect, and judgement is not ours, then we have NO RIGHT to cast stones at others. Judgement is "MINE" God says. Yet somehow these religious A**HOLES think they have a given right to be self-appointed spokesmen for GOD. We should all be working to perfect and improve our own lives and faults, minding our own business, and showing tollerance and consideration, and respect for others. "Love one another", is mentioned more times,( by Christ) in scripture, than any other phrase. THAT'S CHRIST'S WAY and "REAL CHRISTIANITY"

You are gay and I'm a liar. We both deserve to go to hell. Forgiveness is not a free pass. Jesus died on the cross so that you and I can go to heaven. When you buy someone a gift, it is a free gift to that person, but it is not free to you. It was paid for.

btw, if Christianity is too corrupt, do you suppose homosexuality isn't? If so, then you've made yourself into God and now you're gay AND an idolater.

Also, you need to understand that Christians don't hate gays. We hate sin. It isn't that homosexuality is any worse a sin than all the crap I've done. All rebellion from God is sin.

God didn't create homosexuals any more than he created liars. He created people. All of us inherited sin as a result of the fall. All of us are capable of sin. You CHOOSE to follow God or not.

God is a god of love, and homosexuals are not going to hell for being gay. I consider myself a Chirstian even thought I do attend any church. I have several gay friends and some in my family, they are awesome people. Some of them are Christians. The thing is, and this is just what I believe, since God is a god of love, not many people will be going to hell, but I dont' think people like Hitler will go to heaven. To say all Christians say "homos are going to hell" is a pretty dumb statement. Sure some belive that, but no all of them. As far as I'm concerned, there is enough hate in this world and anything that is love between two is alright with me.

So it sounds like you've made up your mind and aren't open to alternative points of view.

It's been my experience that when people talk about "church" the way you do, they're talking about the Catholic church. You are under the mistaken impression that 'sins are forgiven at church by a priest'. Am I reading you right?

The Catholic Church is not a Christian Church. If they were they would believe the Bible. They do not. The Bible says call no man father upon the earth, it says Mary (Jesus' mother) had other children, Catholic bul says she did not, it says not to make graven images, they have lots!

Your generalization about "church" people is invalid as most generalizations are.

God does not rejoice in the death of the wicked, so if a Christian were to rejoice in your death, he would not be a refelction of God's love and grace.

You say you're a very gentle person and you try to love everyone. I know for a fact that is not true. Your rant against Christians in general reveals a lack of love which resulted from the opinion of only a few.

Your homosexual activity demonstrates a lack of love for your sexual partner. Homosexuals comprise only 1.2% of the population, yet they account for roughly 76% of all sexually transmitted diseases. You're putting your partner at risk of a possibly deadly if not permanent disease by your decision to satisfy your selfish sexual desires upon him. This is neither gentle nor kind.

You are found to be both deceived, and a deceiver.

I call people like that 'Christian by Convenience'

The point of repenting in confession is to truly repent for what you did wrong and you are not supposed to do it again. But Christians believe that no matter what they do, how horrible they are, how many times they sin the same sin or different sins over and over they will go to heaven because they believe in Jesus as the Savior.

My fiancee has a Born Again working for him. This kid truly believes that no matter how much he drinks it's OK because he goes to Church and believes in Christ.

It's a bunch of bull if you ask me. God doesn't care how you believe in God, or whether you believe or not. God just cares about how you treat yourself and those around you.

I have never said that homosexuals were going to hell..for I myself was headed to hell, and I was not a homosexual, I was a liar, thief, a whore, a child abuser..I hated Christians..

My sister was living with another woman, when she asked Jesus into her heart, she left her old life style and has been happily married for over 20 years..5 boys and 1 little girl.. :)

For those that hate anyone, are not serving God, for God is Love..and He forgives us all of our sins, no matter what they may be..just as He has forgiven us..we must also forgive others..and to Love others, as Jesus has Loved us..while we still were yet sinners.. :)

I Love you with all of my heart..and I am here, if you ever need someone to talk with..I will not judge..but I will Love.. :)

I am a Christian, and believe that God created man and woman to be with each other. Does that mean I should hate you and think you should go to hell? Absolutely not. The awesome thing about God is that His forgiveness in never-ending. And His love is unfailing. God doesn't like the sin that any of us commit, but He loves each one of us just the same.

What don't you know what Paul taught? What is in the law doesn't matter. All that matters is that you have faith! Want proof of that in their own bible? here you go.

Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Galatians 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Clearly Christians do not believe in personal responcibility or their own bible law! So have fun!

In order to be truly forgiven for a sin you have to be remorseful and repentant. If you ask for forgiveness but continue to make the same sin, then you really aren't forgiven.

Chances are, the people you describe don't recognize their sin as a sin so they are mostly likley not asking for forgiveness anyway. If they are - then they recognize that it is wrong and will either change their behavior or continue to sin.

It's not like you go into church, say "God forgive me" and your soul is wiped clean. Forgiveness comes from confessing your heart to God, asking to be forgiven and then changing your behavior to stay in God's grace.

Food for thought: You are making some broad assumptions about Christians and you don't really understand their faith - just like these Christians you refer to are making broad assumptions about you and don't really understand you.

Look no hard feelings, You are Gay right. God destroyed two cities. However, he didn't destroy the city because of Homosexuality, though it is a sin, he destroyed them because they would not repent of their sin. God does not rate sin, man does. God deals and judges on the heart, and not that blood-pumping organ in the center of your chest, the very center of a man. Homosexuality is a sin, like it or not, but you can be forgiven when you accept Jesus and promise to sin no more, and try to sin.
