No, do not stop. Making a drunken fool of yourself is amusing to your parents. Keep chugging, my drunken friend!

It is good that you should ask yourself this question. It is not so good to be drinking and fighting with your parents.
If you are a teenager, it has recently been discovered that alcohol significantly handicaps the development of a brain and that the effects can linger throughout adulthood.
Going down the road a little, there are other problems with chronic alcoholism (heavy or frequent drinking).
1. liver damage (cerosis)
2. stomach lining damage (innoperable stomic cancer)
3. addiction
In addition, it has been discovered that being addicted to both cigarettes and alcohol creates kind of a "chinese handcuff" situation. In other words, when trying to quit one - the other one will increase the craving for it. This makes it very hard for dual addicts/users to stop.
I am going to take a shot in the dark here and make a wild guess that the friends you were out drinking with were not neurologists or medical researchers.
By all means, go out in the web and do a little research on the subject. It is easy to hit pay dirt using Google, Yahoo, and the Wikipedia to name a few effective resources.
Since alcoholism affects so many people, creates so many serious problems, has been studied so carefully, and has been around for thousands of years - there is a lot of detailed, reliable information on the web about it.
There are some way cooler hobbies to indulge in.
There are things you can do on your own, to better yourself. There are better things you can do with your friends, to sharpen your social/communication skills and your health/stamina.
To fight boredom, check out this list:
- sports
- PBS television and/or the discovery channel
- read about topics you find interesting in Wikipedia.org, and HowStuffWorks.com
- read a book by an author you like or a genre you enjoy
- learn to program computers using a programming language
- learn to draw or paint
- learn to play a musical instrument or compose music on your computer
- read the newspaper when you have breakfast, or read a little news on news websites after you get your homework done or on weekends
- join a club at school
- volunteer at an organization that helps people
- help a younger brother or sister with their studying, or tell them what subjects you are good at and offer to help them if they need it
- study a foreign language or learn about a foreign country
- study nutrition
- study sociology
- study logic
- create a project for a science fair

If you enjoy a drink there is no need to stop. Drinking was once a sociable and enjoyable experience. T often now many people are unable to stop drinking and want to get completely blitzed to the point where they no longer resemble themselves. Your parents deserve respect while you are living in their home..if you had to pay for your own accommodation and the bills you would not be able to afford to get drunk! Make the choice before it is made for you.

It depends.. Do you like drinking better or your parents? Are your parents naturally the fighting type? Does your alcohol come from a nice country like Italy or from the farm down the road? Do your parents give you money? Does your Beer cry at night when its 4 am and your not home? Depends on so many things.

Start drinking with your parents, that way you won't have to come home drunk anymore. If you and your parents start fighting about whose booze you're drinking, or what it is that you should drink, then I would strongly encourage you to tell your parents to stop drinking because they're getting in the way of your drunken good time. Remember, work is the downfall of the drinking class.
Cheers!

thank you for asking the question ! my answer would be only an opinoin.....about should you.........I would prefer you respond to the question your self...... and by doing so I will explain you a little game you can play with yourself......
let's imagine you have a little split personality for the fun of it
there is the one ,.....and that is you. put your name here . (....your birth name.......................).the drinker.....the fighter
whatever it is this is only one of your qualities i am sure you have other qualities,..... like having fun stating to drink, or having fun with something, or being in an happy mood or being in an not so happy mood....I only try you to make you aware that you are what you are
lets forget the good or bad....at this point when playing this game it is not important anymore you are you....so this establishes your first personality the guy being what he is ...it doesnt matter what you do , because that is what you like to do otherwise you would have choosen to do something else........right !
the second person .....is you also , let name him the other you,
give him also a name (...........................)
the other you is the guy that looks at you, with an open mind,
he doesn't judge you and doesn't label you
he just looks at you.......and has fun with you, with the first one, so to speak, ......so he has fun with you because he looks at you
and sees only what you are doing and has fun with it because he doesn't judges, he has an open , unconditional mind,
so he has always fun with you ..because he is watching the first one being himself....whith whatever he is doing.......
this is the start of the game playing with your self......
talking ... the second to the first and the first to the second
It is a fun game ...because by allowing your self playing this splitpersonality game , you will have always fun
the second has fun with the first
and the first has fun with the scond
don't asked any questions anymore
you will see .....it is about having fun with your self......
you will be aware of the first one and have fun
and you will be aware of the second one and have fun
don't ask questions anymore just start playing this game and have fun withyourself......you will love it
like me I have fun answering your interesting question
thanks for asking
alfred..........4everfun
having fun in the fun is the ultimate experience with one self
He! have fun.................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and keep doing what you are doing.......and play...........

If u start harassing ur parents, oh yeah, its time to stop. But if u really want to drink still, just dont drink as much so u wont be violent. Hope this helps! :D!

What was the argument about? Was it valid? If you cant control your drinking, or it makes you mean and violent - then yes. If that's not true, that don't. Drinking is fun, when it is done responsibility.
But you should at least, work out the fight with you parents, and apologies.

Yes!!! you wouldnt be asking this question if you didnt find something wrong about the way you behaved!!! Alcohol just makes a person so agressive so i would suggest just drink in moderation where you know you wont do anything upsetting!!

That is a stupid question. How old are you that you are drinking and living with your parents? Stop drinking or move out.
