I am pregnant and my husband always tells me how beautiful and desireable I am. Usually I have very healthy self-esteem, but no matter how often my husband tells me, I do not feel attractive when I am pregnant. So I was wondering if its all pregnant women who feel this way and also if guys really mean it when they tell you that you are beautiful when you are pregnant or are they just saying that to make you feel better?

Some people do like to see women pregnant and as for the way you feel it is just a hormone and a mood swing thing A lot of women go through this. Some feel that they are the most beautiful when they are pregnant. Remember that if your husband don't tell you that your not beautiful you will never think that he's looking at you. This is the same when a wife ask their husband if they are fat; if he say yes there will be an argument and if he say no they will never believe that he is telling the truth.

Yes, Guys really mean it when they say you are beautiful. There is a radiance and a good appeal that encircles a woman when they are pregnant. There is a change not only outwardly physically but inwardly as well. Whether it is a chemical change in your body or the physical change, pregnant women are some of the most beautiful creatures on earth. I guess the creator made the human female more attractive when they are pregnant and the gift that is carried and the meaning of it is a wondrous process we associate with the Love.
So, you are beautiful in the eyes of your husband, and possible you get looks from many other men too, thinking how lovely you are as well.

Listen I am a father of 3 children. It's very true (at least for me) that pregnant women (my wives, not at the same time) were very attractive. I can't really explain it but maybe it had to do with them carrying my children. So, when he says those things please believe him. I would rub my wives bellies and kiss their stomach and other little things. Even though it's normal to feel what you feel your husband is telling the truth when he says your desirable and attractive. He is not just saying it to make you feel better. That's love! BTW I was married twice, but not at the same time. So both of my wives,(first and second or current) I have experienced pregnancies with.

I'll tell you this much--a lot of guys don't think it's attractive. HOWEVER, a lot of guys do. Men who DON'T think pregnant women are attractive are usually not thinking much about kids, or have a skewed idea of what pregnancy is and the beauty of pregnancy itself.
SO, my answer: pregnancy is H-O-T!! Seriously. And, on another note, especially if it's your wife that's pregnant...that's alluring on many levels--instinct/procreation, "My wife, my kid, my future"; nicer curves (without being crude; you know what I mean), etc.
Bottom line: if your hubby says you're gorgeous, he thinks you're gorgeous. Seriously, how many men are really capable of passionately, sincerely carrying on telling you something just because they're supposed to?
Be pregnant; be hot!!

I think its attractive. I haven't personally been pregnant before. But everytime I see a pregnant woman I admire them because they look so beautiful. I envy the beautiful skin you wear during that time as well! Many guys I know find that women look the most beautiful during pregnancy. It brings this type of motherly and innocent look, which guys admire. They wouldn't just tell you that, your carrying their baby!

I felt that way when i was pregnant. A pregnant woman is a beautiful site. Just carrying another life inside you is amazing.

Here's a tip wear one of those skirts that come to your hips and wear pants under those and high heels and then tell me what happens when your husband looks at you, you might get attacked in a good way. And yes you are attractive.

I think they are, since they are bringing another life into the world. But being totally honest, for some if they to huge with all the stretch marks, then it is not as good as the first 6-7months. But it is still a precious gift.
