maybe your putting pressure on your body. I used to put pressure in my knees and I am growing at a slow rate so I am gaining 1 inch every three years.

I am thinking that the torn tissue has caused your posture to be different...you might have torn something that is partially supprting your spine and are now slouching slightly as a result of the injury.
Do not wait for it to heal...it may heal improperly and the height loss could become permanent. Go to your doctor and have it checked out so that you will not have a potentially permanent injury. Keeping your back and spine in proper alignment is very important. See the doctor without delay.

Hope this helped.

Go to the doctor is the best advice. Yes you may have a disk problem and you need to get it looked at now. If not you will never return and it will not regenerate. Also, you are always taller in the morning, your disks rehydrate during sleep.

I have to agree with the answerer, you should go to the doctor. are u in pain? Is it bothering you? I would be way more concerned about these questions than losing and inch of height!? I would rather be healthy, than concerned about how tall I am...
