North Korea will not use bombs on use. Bombs require the use of bomber aircraft, and we would most likely be able to intercept it early if they tried it. North Korea at this time is testing missiles, which are self propelled, and are not as easy to shoot down as bomber aircraft. Although they may have them available to use on us, they are well aware of the dire consequences of using missiles on the United States. It is highly unlikely that they will do it.

No, not yet I think. I think they're sorta just bragging and make them seem really scary. I think they're having some plan by making more and making bomb aircrafts and stuff. And I don't think N. Korea will just come and bomb us. They'd probably make a scene or something first. I mean, that's like N. Korea, they want to be scary, powerful and the dictator wants to show their power and trick their people into believing that America and South Korea is really bad and stuff. I am personally South Korean but I live in America. I think they MIGHT bomb South Korea first and others maybe and not the "Big one" first because basically they're saying we're going to bomb you, that's our revenge and we have the same blood and together we shall die.
Plus, do you know how much North Korea hates us. They hate hate hate hate HATE us, that they think we're eviler than evil, at least that's what the dictator SAYS. I don't think they're going to just bomb us. Something more evil and intimidating and something much more clever that U.S forces cannot defeat. I mean, U.S is very strong and N. Korea must overcome that.

Chances are they will not hit us with bombs because they know that a bomb that hits us means a million bombs right back at them and an invasion of the country which means BYE BYE North Korea!

This is a question better asked of Nostradamus, prophet of the ages. But since he is dead, I will give it a shot.

The answer is likely not. They lack the technical sophistication to achieve such a feat, as evidenced by the failure of their recent missile tests. It would take years for them to perfect the technology they seek to become a menace to the West. Unfortunately, for them, leader Long-Dong-Il lacks patience and will likely blow a fuse long before then, opting to strike South Korea or, even more likely, Japan. This will, of course, lead to North Korea's demise as it will be swiftly pummeled into oblivion by a coalition of superpowers including the U.S., which just sent an 8th Aegis cruiser to the region.

North Korea will become an episode in Modern Military Faux Pas before it can ever hit the US with bombs.

I don't think the North Koreans will hit the United States. That really would be the worst move they could make. We do have nuclear weapons and we are not afraid to use them!

The North Koreas are much more likely to make empty threats in the hope that we will either forgive their debt or give them a nice enticement package like we gave Iran.

You are the umpteenth person I have seen today who has asked this question...but hey no big. The true test of intelligence is when one is willing to ask questions (unless they become repetitive by the same person). If by "bombs" you mean the ones that aircraft drop...then no need to worry. They have no planes to hit the USA right now nor will they have in the forseeable future. Their missiles are not yet fully perfected (if July 4's sham of a missile test is any indication) and it will take some years to perfect it. Even then the USA missile defences would have also improved. The last aspect of the Question now is whether Kim Jong ill wants to do so. If he is as crazy or desperate or tired of living as we would love to speculate...then probably he will.

Not since Russia sent missiles to Cuba in 1962 has the United States or it's allies been under such a threat of a nuclear attack.
What concerns me the most is that our Missile Defense System, given the state of advanced technology today, is still not proven to be 100% reliable in intercepting and shooting down an enemy missile that may be on course to strike in the U.S.
Kim Jong il, the leader of the DPRK, is to be taken seriously given that he is ambitiously seeking world attention and if provoked might just take drastic steps, such as launching a nuclear attack, in order to advance his cause.
He may not have the enriched plutonium (we really don't know) or the sophisticated warhead right now but, he is working diligently toward that end.

Very unlikely, The US air force is too strong for Korea to oppose and they would have very little chance of getting any plane into a decent bombing position, unless they did something sneaky like using private or commercial planes...
If they attack us they'll use rockets. In an Ironic twist they tested Rockets on July 4th, that would be capable of striking the US.

The range of their missiles reach only the edge of Alaska. At present, they do not have any missiles that will do any amount of damage...best they could do is is put a hole in a building...and with their best missile design, that would be to put a hole in a caribou.

Their missile design failed, by the way...they do not yet have the technology to reach us. With the economic troubles they are having, the repressive state of their country, and the lack of any desire for most other countries to help, with the added problem of starvation and pandemics that North Korea routinely goes through, we do not have a lot to owrry about.

No, they will intercepeted before they would ever each the United States. Our military has the ability to shot down, disarm and just plane blow up anything that North Korea would think of sending this direction.

Have you heard today that we have helped out Japan with some of this technology? We sent over some type of missle to intercept those that Kim might shoot over to Japan.
