I am quite agree with you. I think one can be known as true christian not only because he is christian but because of how he follows orders or teachings of Jesus. But it seems that Christians gives more importance to religion and spreading of their religion rather than following Jesus teachings and his orders. It's impossible or not logical that everybody has to be their different God. If Christians have created by their God then who created to Muslims, Hindus and so on? who created animals and birds? is not God for them? Come out of the circle and think over it. I am not requesting Christians only but i am requesting to all fundamentalist from Muslims, Hindus and so on. One can't be well known due to his religion but he can be well known because of his presentation to others, his behavior, his character and attitude. In answer no.7 somebody have interpreted wrong meaning of Hindus God.Hindu believe that God is one and he is exists in human as well animals and birds also. The statue or picture of God is just symbolic, imaginative. As to solve the problem or to find out value of something unknown you have to take a symbolic figure like X,Y. The same way to worship of God Hindu takes imaginative statue or picture of God.

There is only one God... but that doesn't mean it's the same God for all religions. Hinduism... do you really think the one God will transfigure to multiple animal shapes just so Hindu's will accept? I sure don't think so. Jews, Christians, Muslim... it's all supposed to be the same God anyways (not so sure about Muslim, but Jews and Christians, yeah)... It's a big difference between Jesus as "Son of God" vs. us. Yeah, we're all children, but Jesus is God... that's the point of Christianity. Jews don't believe he was... Muslims don't believe he was. They believe he's just another person, Muslims believe he was a prophet... but still just human. He's not God incarnate on earth in flesh... Christians believe that. And this forgiveness thing... it's not so supposed to be so simple like that! Anyone with any common sense can figure out that's not what that means. How can any God let you off so easily? You have to actually MEAN what you say when you ask for forgiveness... if you just do it as a ritual, it means nothing, and you'll find out the hard way after you die... when you go to hell. Being a good person is what it's all about... Christians sell Love as the way to be a good person. Jews use laws and such to guide on how to be a good person. Muslims... not so clear about this one... maybe you can help me, but I'm sure another way to help how to be a good person. But there are plenty of other religions that do the same thing, but without a God ... a single God like these 3... (Buddhism, Hinduism, Shinto, etc)... These other ones don't relate to the same one God I believe in.

There is no actual evidence that Jesus existed! The bible? That is just a book cobbled together from a huge number of books. The Vatican refuse to let anyone even scholars see the others.
Jesus was suposed to be a thorn in the romans side yet there is no record of him at all. Funnily there were a number of others at the same time claiming to be the saviour and they are all well recorded.
Christians should do the Christian thing- worship quietly in their own way and leave the rest of us alone to live happier lives.

If you believe that the God of the Bible and Allah of the Qur'an are the same, you better look at this REAL CLOSELY. They are not the same.
One book claims Jesus is a prophet, Bible claims He is God. Only one can be right.
Why would contradict Himself for the benefit of mankind? This would cause more confusion and strife in the world.

I do recommend that you live like Jesus (rather than "be a Christian").
Jesus says for us to believe his message (e.g., for a brief explanation of the gospel (of salvation through Jesus Christ), see http://www.godsci.org/gs/new/essence.html)
But it is not sufficient to just believe... we have to truly and sincerely repent of our sins and commit our lives to Christ. Our commitment to obey Jesus' commandments is a measure of our sincerity.
You are right that there is only one God. That God is the Christian God.
For scientific and intellectual evidence for the existence of God, see http://www.godsci.org/gs/godsci/evidence.htm
Cordially,
John

i trust the Bible is authentic. standard purely potential "ordinary." Fundamentalism is focusing on the basics of Biblical reality. the priority is that distinct issues qualify as fundamentals to distinct human beings. Fundamentalism is many times incorrect in that its adherents have a tendency to carry certain fundamentals because the theory of sound doctrine. This stops short, regardless of the indisputable fact that. the theory of sound doctrine is the words of God. words - plural. each and each and every of the funamentals ought to correctly be recent in a hymn e book. that would not make it a Bible. each and each and every of the basics ought to correctly be recent in a commentary. that would not make it a Bible. each and each and every of the basics is often recent in a gospel tract. once back, that's nevertheless no longer a Bible. The Bible is the in ordinary words position the position we are able to locate each and everything God needs us to have, contained in the order he needs us to have it, and contained in the right stability that he needs us to have it. in ordinary words God's words will purify and remodel the human soul (playstation . 119:9; Jn. 15:3; Eph. 5:26; Rom. 12:2). even as the basics are strong and authentic, Christians might want to no longer give up there. "each and every word of God is organic..." professional. 30:5. Christians must be those who study, trust, study, memorize, and meditate on each and every word of God, no longer purely the basics.

What is a fundamentalist? It is a person who believes in the fundamentals. What are the fundamentals? Hmm, let's see.
We believe that the Bible, consisting of Old and New Testaments only, is verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit, is inerrant in the original manuscripts, and is the infallible and authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Adam, created in the image of God, was tempted by Satan, the devil, and fell. Sin remains in man, and can be forgiven through repentance and the forgiveness of God through the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe that salvation consists in the remission of sins, the imputation of Christ's righteousness, and the gift of eternal life received by faith alone, apart from works.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe that the Church, the body of Christ, consists only of those who are born again, who are baptized by the Holy Spirit into Christ at the time of regeneration, for whom He now makes intercession in heaven and for whom He will come again.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that Christ instructed the Church to go into the entire world and preach the gospel to every person, baptizing and teaching those who believe.
We believe that the return of Jesus Christ is imminent, and that it will be visible and personal.
Now, that wasn't so bad, was it?

To do what you want (sin), and then expect to be able to just pray after that and be forgiven is wrong. God will not be mocked. He knows our hearts. If we willfully sin, He does not have to forgive us (or at least it will take quite a bit of extra hard trying to get Him to forgive us).
Jesus did not do His own will. He said "I came not to do my own will, but my Father who sent me".

we are all supposed to live like jesus, but it has to be more than just believeing in Him... you have to have a connection to Him, without communication, our religion is nothing, i'm not too sure about your god because i haven't studied your religion enough to talk about it so i'll just keep my mouth shut.

I'm sick of ALL fundamentalists. The Christian ones are pretty annoying, but so are the other flavours.
