First off, I would recommend you get formal education and training, like at LEAST a Master's Degree with some practicum experience.

Second, I think you should re-think your online counseling service idea because it raises some very provocative and controversial issues around ethics and legalities. For example, if you are located in California and you have a client in New York who wants to sue you for some wrong they think you did, you may be liable under New York's laws (which you probably didn't know anything about), rather than under your own state's laws.

Finally, I would say just do it the old fashion way: face-to-face. Counseling is truly about the therapeutic relationship and meeting in person is the BEST way to build trusting, meaningful relationships. Besides, more than 80% of communication is body language; this means that you're only able to understand 20% of what people are telling you online!

Get a degree, Oprah has well trained people who work for her. And does a lot of research before she makes statements.
