i always drink sunkist straight out of a cold can...but the store ran out so i got a bottle of it an poured it into a glass and it seemed to have a lot more fizz than what i was use to. could this be true? or am i just imagining it?

both the bottle and the cans are kept in the same fridge and when i pour the sunkist into a glass out of the bottle i do not have ice in the glass

If they're at the same temperature...they should have the same amount of fizz....Maybe it just lookedl ike more because bottles usually have greater volume. But when you pour the soda, you stimulate all the air bubbles in it and it naturally fizzes...also, if you pour soda into a glass with ice, it will fizz more...something to do with the oxygen in the ice and the carbon in the soda bubbles...reactions making CO2 and it gets released...thus more fizz. But there's a big difference between drinking it straight out of a cold can and pouring it (especially over ice). I think it's the pouring act that's getting you more fizz.

The formula is the same, the difference could be in your mind.
