The problem..My son wants an 4 wheeler. He is a good kid! never gives me a moments trouble. i really want to do this for him. But no will finance!! Does anyone know of any lenders that will finance someone with past bad credit to make his dream come true???? thank you!!!! He isn't spoiled, he doesn't have "everything" and I think with his behavior, etc, that he deserves this.

Teach him to work and save for it. Have him start his own bank account. This way you will teach him a life lesson about finances and an understanding and a healthy respect for money, possessions, and the time, and work involved to acquire them. He can do odd jobs around the neighbourhood etc. Things being freely given and "easy credit" is what gets many of us off on the wrong track and debt problems later in life. You could even tell him that whatever he saves or puts in the bank you will match.

Try State Farm Bank. Go to your local State Farm agent's office and if they are bank certified, they can run it through and see if they will lend you the money.

As long as you show you are paying on time now and have within the last six months to a year, most likely, they will finance your ATV. Plus they have excellent rates right now. Especially on ATV's. They use the rates they use for vehicles, whereas, if you go to places like Polaris and Yamaha, their int rates are through the roof. I'm talking as high as credit card int rates.

Try them out. Go to www.statefarm.com. You can even apply online. If you live in Indiana...email me and I may be able to help you.
