My son is 5 months old and soon i will have to worry about him crawling. i have 3 cats and they have their litter box in the bathroom. do i really have to worry about him going in there? if i keep saying no, wont that work? I can't move the litter box and I do not want to close the door as my cats need to have accesss to the litter box! has anyone else encountered this?

Put a baby gate up in the doorway and the cats can easily hop over it but baby will not be able to get in :) that will work at least until your tike is old enough to know not to touch it. gl!

Your son in the cat box would be a bad thing. Try a gate on the door. The cats could jump over. Or put a "doggy" door in the door so the cats can get in when the door is closed.

Good Luck!

We tried a gate at first but it became a problem when other people had to go to the bathroom. We ended up having to train the cat which wasn't that hard to stand at the bathroom door to get in like a dog stands at the door to get out or to go in when we went in.
