Leviticus 18
Unlawful Sexual Relations
1 The LORD said to Moses, 2 "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'I am the LORD your God. 3 You must not do as they do in Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. Do not follow their practices. 4 You must obey my laws and be careful to follow my decrees. I am the LORD your God. 5 Keep my decrees and laws, for the man who obeys them will live by them. I am the LORD.

6 " 'No one is to approach any close relative to have sexual relations. I am the LORD.

7 " 'Do not dishonor your father by having sexual relations with your mother. She is your mother; do not have relations with her.

8 " 'Do not have sexual relations with your father's wife; that would dishonor your father.

9 " 'Do not have sexual relations with your sister, either your father's daughter or your mother's daughter, whether she was born in the same home or elsewhere.

10 " 'Do not have sexual relations with your son's daughter or your daughter's daughter; that would dishonor you.

11 " 'Do not have sexual relations with the daughter of your father's wife, born to your father; she is your sister.

12 " 'Do not have sexual relations with your father's sister; she is your father's close relative.

13 " 'Do not have sexual relations with your mother's sister, because she is your mother's close relative.

14 " 'Do not dishonor your father's brother by approaching his wife to have sexual relations; she is your aunt.

15 " 'Do not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law. She is your son's wife; do not have relations with her.

16 " 'Do not have sexual relations with your brother's wife; that would dishonor your brother.

17 " 'Do not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter. Do not have sexual relations with either her son's daughter or her daughter's daughter; they are her close relatives. That is wickedness.

18 " 'Do not take your wife's sister as a rival wife and have sexual relations with her while your wife is living.

19 " 'Do not approach a woman to have sexual relations during the uncleanness of her monthly period.

20 " 'Do not have sexual relations with your neighbor's wife and defile yourself with her.

21 " 'Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed [a] to Molech, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the LORD.

22 " 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

23 " 'Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion.

24 " 'Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled. 25 Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants. 26 But you must keep my decrees and my laws. The native-born and the aliens living among you must not do any of these detestable things, 27 for all these things were done by the people who lived in the land before you, and the land became defiled. 28 And if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out the nations that were before you.

29 " 'Everyone who does any of these detestable things—such persons must be cut off from their people. 30 Keep my requirements and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the LORD your God.' "

Romans 1:26 (Whole Chapter)
Worse followed. Refusing to know God, they soon didn't know how to be human either—women didn't know how to be women, men didn't know how to be men. Sexually confused, they abused and defiled one another, women with women, men with men—all lust, no love. And then they paid for it, oh, how they paid for it—emptied of God and love, godless and loveless wretches

He is totally against gay marriage, or homosexuality. He has said that there is no tolerance for that behavior at all. Here are some references Lev 18:22; Romans 1:26-32; 1Cor 6:9-10; 1 Tim 1:9-10; Jude 1:7; Heb 13:4 and Lev 20:13.

Just read Leviticus chapter 18.

FAQ: What books are in the Word and what are apocrypha?

"The books of the Word are all those which have the internal sense; but those books which have not the internal sense, are not the Word. The books of the Word, in the Old Testament, are the five Books of Moses, the Book of Joshua, the Book of Judges, the two Books of Samuel, the two Books of Kings, the Psalms of David, the Prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi: and in the New Testament, the four Evangelists, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John; and the Apocalypse. The rest have not the internal sense" (Arcana Coelestia n. 10325 or Heavenly Doctrine n. 266).

Many of the early Christian cults in the Roman empire believed that Jesus was, himself, gay or some sort of ultra-hedonist (who commanded them to perform orgiastic rites). These predate orthodoxy, established at the synod of Tyre in AD 335, and were part of the reason Romans disliked Christians (the cults staying closer to Judaism were disliked because they would not allow for any gods other then their own) -- Romans were very tolerant of religious beliefs, but so far as everything else goes they were very much on the lines of modern cons in the US. So if Jesus was a lib-hippie back then, it's fairly safe to say that he would still be a lib-hippie.
Gay marriage all the way.

" Let those without sin cast the first bouquet".....

Um..did you know..that old Traditional Muslim laws also ban homosexuality as an abomination?? Do you then declare that Modern day Christianity has its roots steeped in Muslim Traditionalism?? And..is that right??

Most Middle-Eastern religions have something on the books about homosexuality...its funny..isnt it? Its funny because all the nobles from such places had at their disposals both male and female harums....and that these laws were made chiefly FOR the masses..in order to control them. Kinda like now..there are laws..but those in power dont follow them..its only US that are made to wear the yoke.

Would a loving Jesus preach against love..I highly doubt it/

Yes he is against gay marriage But I am also sure that the people who have those feelings he also feels very sad for and wants to bless them in every way he can. I think that being Gay is a lot like being hooked on a substance like drugs. You may never get over the craving but will not with help and time, diminish your capacity for love of a person of the opposite sex.

Yes, the Biblical definition of marriage follows the pattern of Adam and Eve, and doesn't anywhere mention Adam and Steve.

Mark 10:6-9
6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.

7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;

8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.

9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder KJV

Jesus Christ would very much be AGAINST gay marriage. He condemned sin in every form while He walked on this earth. He HATES homosexuality, yet he loves the homosexuals. They are just sinners, like the rest of us. It is just one of MANY sins that plague mankind and keep us from Him. The very first act performed after mankind was created was to create a "mate" for him. Once they were together, they were COMMANDED to "be fruitful and multiply". When the entire human race was destroyed, except for Noah and his wife, their three sons and their wives, they were commanded to "be fruitful and multiply" and to replenish the earth. Homosexual marriage CANNOT fulfill these commands from the Almighty God. Yes, Jesus would definitely be against gay marriage. He would try and get them to change from their sins, and immediately forgive them when they did so. Praise be to Jesus!!!

Actually, in my own opinion..okay?..ahmmm i think.. Jesus is against gay marriage because it is written in the bible that it is not right. But opposite to that is, Jesus is a good brother and i think he will understand you for aslong as you do good things. And you don't step on other people's dignity. just continue on doing good. but in our society now, gay marriage is now open and well accepted. If you love him, well my advise is.... go for it... but make sure that you will not blame yourself after. And you'll accept any consequences. I tell you... in this life.. there are always choices... it is up to you if youll choose the right path or the other. think a hundred times before you make a hard decision.ok? GOB BLESS .

This is in response to Bobby: According to the book of Leviticus, it is also okay to sell your daughter into slavery and menstruating women have to be isolated because they are "unclean"(actually, I wouldn't mind being given a few days off every month when I menstruate). Leviticus says that if you consume pork, shrimp, or lobster you are breaking God's laws because those animals are unclean. Leviticus has a multitude of rules and regulations; read the entire book and you'll see. You can't just pick out the ones you like and disregard the rest.

Leviticus: Chapter 18 will explain everything. To put it simply yes, Jesus wants marriage between a man and a woman, not two people of the same gender.
