if ur talking about extreme sports, record urself doing the best tricks u know and send it to the companies u want to get sponsored by. but don't be positive u'll get sponsored by a company overnight. Enter contests and do good. U should also send a video to ur local shop. They probably won't give u paychecks, but u might get free stuff.

If ur not talking about sports, then just send letters to local and well-known companies telling them what u r doing and that u need money. Say that u will try to get them customers. u'll probably get 50 to 100 dollars per company.
