Green tree is a natural diuretic. It helps flush out excess water which people then assume is weight lose. You can drink or take green tea pills to help eliminate the excess water in your body. That is what causes additional "lbs".

Green Tea cures everything known to man. I live in China and Chinese believe that it helps to break down fats for digestion. But the claims are unsubstantiated without proof. Just recently doctors in Japan reported that green tea prolongs life....a fountain of youth. There are dozens of 'green' teas and none of the articles specify the exact variety and a few varieties contain more caffeine that strong coffee. A few years ago, royal jelly was the current miracle, and ginseng, and ephedra caught the fancy of promoters until a few deaths occured as it affects the blood pressure...but it was touted as a 'miracle' weight reducing agent causing an increase in metabolism...it did make your heart race faster...as is now banned even in Hong Kong. Many of the herbal cures are fairly harmless and green tea is probably the least worry. But if you enter any department store such as Wal-Mart, they have a complex variety of herbal products that are supposed to work miracles on everything BUT remember an important fact...they are not controlled by the FDA very well and are marketed as a product of natural origin. With a drug such as penicillin, it must be tested extensively and approved by the US FDA before sale, however most herbs do not have to meet any standards of safety, strength, purity and many even lack a date of packaging. Behind all this is money, you can not patent a natural product, so why would any company spend the money for research on a herbal product that it can not license? So claims will remains only claims, not as fact. If you drink green tea...do it because you enjoy it, but don't expect miracles.

Green Tea for weight loss

A Green Tea Diet is the regular intake of green tea. Green tea can be used as a drink, pill and as a weight loss patch. To get rid of your weight problem you either need to lower you food intake or increase your energy expenditure.

The green tea weight loss effect is due to the EGCG antioxidant that increases energy expenditure and accelerates fat burning. That makes Green Tea Diet a very smart choice for all people who hate strict dieting, or are tired of starving, or everyday exercising.

Green tea weight loss diet is a great way for everyone to lose weight easily and naturally, without any negative side effects.
